We found the Diptyque Paris boutique from the iconic French perfume house, opened in Saint-Germain almost 65 years ago (1961), in the Garhoud Atrium Building using the navigator of the Dubai Mall mobile application. The purpose of the visit is to wish a birthday present to a sweet girl close to us with good aesthetic taste, a craving for beauty and a desire for perfection. They immediately realized that the high–status "Diptic" (the name refers to the shape of the store itself in Paris, whose windows overlook two sides of the boulevard and resemble an open diptych) had come to the right place - into the world of sensual fragrances, laconic bottle shapes, creative labels with "dancing" letters, promising stories and amazing discoveries. Such as, for example, a beautiful legend about a medieval fragrance recipe accidentally found by the author of the Knox store idea, which he, as a military translator and artist, deciphered and reassembled the composition. The Dubai Mall's small euro-luxury showroom has a high concentration of non–trivial and fragrant branded items: from eau de toilette to perfume brooches, from diffusers to scented candles of all sizes. Candles were the ones that became the brand's trademark and a sign of status. They were the ones who flashed in films and in pictures from the living rooms of the stars. It was Candle Roses 600g that we had to purchase here. We looked around, walked around (although you can't really walk around in the hall): stylish, elegant, beautiful, fragrant, deserted and very expensive. Of course, we did not rise to the top of the olfactory pyramid of aromas, but we trampled a little at its base, having joined the luxury of the fragrant world. At the same time, we admired the elegantly decorated Christmas showcase. We bought a gift, and I felt strong emotions from the price converted into dollars (I didn't know the marketing legends and myths about Diptyque yet). The birthday girl was happy. Tax free was issued without any problems.
