We went to a Dissident cafe in Batumi the other day and we have to say that the St. Petersburg shawarma really hit the nail on the head. We also stopped by for burgers, barbecues and their little sets of tinctures — it was a lot of fun to try. The place is huge, with an upstairs terrace and a play area in the center. It felt like someone's cool house. What I like most is that they allow me to keep pets.

Dissident Caffe in Batumi is not just a shawarma (although it is excellent!). It's a place with a soul. The smell is special, the atmosphere is friendly. Tinctures are not banal shots, but mini-adventures. A terrace with a view of the city is a class. There's a mafia downstairs, then a movie. You feel like you belong. There is a delivery. It's not just food, it's an experience with its own character. I want to go back.

I'm very upset. I used to love the St. Petersburg shawarma here with all my heart and advised everyone, but today I was disappointed.: 1) service — the guy at the checkout didn't seem to care, he had to ask clarifying questions, for example, what kind of sauces / drinks are in the combo 2) the shawarma itself — the taste / composition has changed. there is more lavash, cucumbers are cut into large slices, the meat is dry, there is little sauce I hope everything will be fine again. 🥺
