A gorgeous palace, with a luxurious garden around. The interiors that remember Ataturk have been preserved. Very beautiful interior decoration, ceramics, murals. The ticket also includes a visit to the harem. Photos are not allowed in the palace itself. At the entrance to the museums, even before checking tickets, you can take an audio guide for free, leaving a document or money (1000 liras) as a deposit. A guide is very necessary, there are few signs and descriptions, without it little is clear. There is a cafe in the garden, we were not very impressed with the choice of dishes, we did not eat anything.

The Dolmabahce Palace of the Ottoman Sultans was built in 1853, in my opinion the most luxurious and "modern" of all the palaces of the sultans in the Ottoman Empire.
The special charm of this palace is given by its location very close to the water... Due to this, the photos become fantastic.
Be sure to take an audio guide. Without it, you will lose a lot of information.
It took us about 4 hours to walk through the entire palace with all the chambers.
There is a great cafe on site
P.S. The crystal staircase deserves special attention...

An incredibly beautiful place! We visited the palace with an excursion - it is very beautiful, there are many rooms, you will get tired of walking. I definitely recommend you to visit. Outside there is a large garden and a very beautiful area. Everything is well maintained, there are several cafes where you can drink coffee and have a good meal. My favorite place in Istanbul.
