I didn't like it. We booked a table in advance, according to reviews, we decided to come here for lunch, being passing through Gomel, for the holidays. A lot of items on the menu were not available. We chose from what was there - the bread was brought cold and stale, as if from the refrigerator, we didn't like the borscht, the salad was olivier with shrimp - there were 3-4 shrimps on top... the good food was beef cheeks with mashed potatoes, that was just delicious. And the rest is somehow not serious at all. One of the good things I would like to mention is the work of the bartender - the mulled wine is delicious and fast, the drinks are all at once, although there was not everything I wanted available. It's a strange feeling - according to reviews, it's a cool place, but in fact it's not. Well, maybe we just got there.

I had a wonderful breakfast here at 8 a.m. on a weekday when I had free time between trains. There were already visitors, but there were still empty seats. Delicious, hot omelet in a frying pan with lots of cheese. Delicious pancakes with custard and cherries - very tasty!! I'll probably come back here for them)) Pleasant and courteous service. Purely by chance, my husband and I went to drink something cold at this place. Although they walked by regularly. This is one of the few places that you want to return to, because you feel good. Animals? Please, you can go with them. There are insect sprays for visitors outside. Large pebbles are lying unobtrusively on the stacks of napkins so that the wind does not blow away. Very nice waitress girls, it's nice to communicate with them, no obsession, at the same time sincere interest, they will tell you everything, explain. The choice of dishes is not very large, but it turned out to be VERY tasty, we did not even expect it. Pancakes are wonderful, as is custard. I am very surprised by the knowledge of the steps of the service, surprisingly for Gomel. The food is always fresh and very tasty, beef cheeks were always eaten, this time the girls advised pork with mashed potatoes, it's a delight, pancakes are a bomb, hot sandwiches are a bomb, maybe I tried the whole menu already, what I would not like- no, the foam in cappuccino was limping before, for me it is always important, this is my whim)), but even she was brought to the ideal. I often visit this place, I love it with all my heart, but recently the staff has deteriorated, specifically several waiters (they are probably new).
1 situation - they took a table, waited for me for 30 minutes, while there were not many tables with guests, the waiters (guys) constantly ran, brought the menu to other guests (who came later than us), counted, looked at us, but we did not wait for the menu... we, and therefore the revenue of the institution, left.
Situation 2 (another time) - a certain wine was ordered, and then another wine name was found in the bill. To which the waiter (or bartender) we did not understand that they replaced the wine for us, since what we ordered was not available. But as a rule, visitors are informed about this in advance and an alternative is offered. The bartender, quite audaciously, tried to calm us down by saying that the cost of a glass of wine that was served to us was 10 kopecks less than what we ordered. But the fact is that we did not want it to be cheaper, especially by 10 kopecks, for us this is not a decisive factor when choosing a drink.

It's a great place. They cook really tasty, unlike some of them, which are also sold in the city. Borscht just fell off my head. And the rest is delicious, what we took. There were 2 times, sometimes the cook didn't seem to be annoyed, but that's it. And even an anti-mosquito spray against the ubiquitous Gomel midges was taken out to the outdoor veranda for visitors.

The cafe is not large in terms of capacity, the menu even in the morning almost completely beats the main one! We were warned in advance about the waiting for the dishes, the serving time fully corresponded to the expectation. The staff coped with their task perfectly. The food was not bad, but the music was playing so loudly that we had to shout to hear each other.
We came with a child and were seated at a table on which the air conditioner blew very strongly. We asked to reduce the force of the air conditioner blowing, but the waitress told us that this was impossible. We moved to another table. As for the music, it was made a little quieter after our 4th request. Before that, they refused, arguing that the sound from the kitchen was heard and music was needed to drown it out.
This is some kind of poor service. It used to be a pleasant place. Now it's comfortable to drink vodka here with unicorn friends.

Insanely pleasant and cozy place, although a small institution, next to the railway station, 10 minutes on foot. The prices are pleasant, it is more expensive in Minsk. I recommend it to those who come to Gomel early in the morning and do not know where to have breakfast, and champagne from the establishment is very nice at 9 am. There is some kind of trouble with early breakfasts in Gomel. DOM coffee shop helps out. Works from 8 am. Fragrant coffee and a delicious full-fledged breakfast "with fervor from the heat" in a cozy interior. Porridge, pancakes, cheesecakes, omelet with ham and cheese in a cast-iron frying pan. The choice is large on the menu. A good start to the day is guaranteed. Not cheap, but... very tasty and soulful. You can take it out, delivery works. Someone specially comes for coffee in the morning. It is understandable. The coffee here is divine👍

I don't share the rave reviews. I wouldn't go back there again. We were passing through the city and of course came to the House for breakfast (since this institution is in the top in all ratings). Three of the three dishes are missing. It was the most tasteless carbonara in my life) that's the truth. Maybe we were just unlucky with the choice of dishes
There are no questions about maintenance, the fact that it is possible with animals is a separate plus.
