The house of the merchants of Kosovo. It was built in 1912 in the Art Nouveau style. It belonged to a family of Kosovar merchants, famous industrialists and entrepreneurs. The head of the family, Asher Kosovsky, also owned a steam mill, which was located nearby (the Lithuanian embassy building is now on this site), a tannery and a number of other small businesses. The building had two apartments for 6 and 5 rooms, as well as a grocery store and a tailor shop.
In Soviet times, there were the Department of Agriculture of the Grodno region, the regional council of the DSO "Harvest", the State Inspectorate for Bread Products, the society "Knowledge", the tour desk and the regional tourism council.
Currently, the housing and communal services administration is located here.
