We were in Novogrudok on business, so we decided to visit the museum. They offered to take a guide. The male guide offered to choose which language the tour would be in. We asked him what language he was comfortable with, and he said it was in Belarusian. We do not regret that we agreed. Without a guided tour, this museum would have been completed in 15 minutes. Among the exhibits are Mickiewicz's personal belongings, such as glasses. And the mantel clock that stood in his apartment in Kaunas. I recommend you to visit.

The museum left a double impression. On the one hand, the exposition is poor, but we understand that after all that our Homeland has endured, it's amazing that anything has been preserved at all. Wars, resulting fires, and invaders greedy for other people's goods. Thanks to the museum staff for their hard work, for preserving at least what is left. All Belarusians (and not only, Mickiewicz is a contemporary of Pushkin) must visit.
