We stayed at this hotel from 03/28. to 04/02. 25. Overall, we liked it. Convenient location: you can walk to both old and new Gagra, there is a bus stop nearby. We had a room with a balcony in the main building on the 5th floor overlooking the sea - birds were singing in the morning, you can see the sea and the interior, you can't hear the road! The room is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. There is a table and 2 chairs on the balcony. I was surprised that they didn't put a welcome bottle of water. There is a kettle and tea pairings with spoons, beach towels. Daily and high-quality cleaning. The only drawback is the very soft mattresses, it's uncomfortable to sleep. I was 56 kg, and I was falling through, and what can we say about those who weigh more..... The territory is small, but very well maintained, green. The sea is just a stone's throw away, sometimes we were given deck chairs :). Catering: the dining room is large, with a view of the sea, there is an open veranda. The buffet was small, but we never went hungry :), there is always something to take. Personally, I liked the quality of the food, and I'm quite picky :)) Of the cons: there was no regular drinking water (only tea and compote) and for some reason a very limited number of teaspoons (for 30 people, it's good if there were 15 pieces). The distribution is very small, and a queue is being created. If there is a lot of occupancy, this is a problem. Well, we expected that there would be local cheeses, at least compote (not juice) from tangerines - but alas, none of this happened. It's weird for me personally. In general, I recommend it for a vacation.

It was the first time we were in this place as a family. We liked it here, the sea is just a minute away, the beach is clean, there are sun beds. The food is canteen-style, but quite tasty. You are unlikely to stay hungry. But I must say right away, if you are used to 5 stars, most likely this place will not suit you in terms of food. We had a nice room. Yes, there were some flaws, but they were minor and did not spoil our rest. The room was cleaned every day, the linen was changed 2 times in 9 days. The only thing I didn't like was the queue at the distribution. Sometimes I had to stand for a long time

Very nice boarding house! Built in Stalinist times, the style of Soviet architecture. Compact green area, the sea is close and clean. The food is delicious and satisfying. There is a tour desk. Nearby is the five-star Amra Spa hotel, where you can go to the spa, use the pool and all the infrastructure (cinema, restaurants, entertainment). Great vacation.
