The room is very cozy, there is a kettle and everything necessary for tea drinking. Large bathroom with bathtub and shower. The cleaning and room service are excellent. The breakfast is varied, in addition to the buffet, you can order porridge, scrambled eggs. The hotel also has a swimming pool and hammam baths, a sauna. I had a pleasant experience.

A good Soviet-era hotel in the very center of Almaty. The room is small, a little tired, but not critical. On the plus side: a good SPA area (at least the ventilation is well done there, there is no mold, as in other hotels, the smell of chlorine or urine. The hammam and sauna are heated well. The pool is small but clean. There are several simulators. There was bottled water in the room all the time. Cleaning is daily, good. Tea and coffee in the room.
Now the cons: for some reason, the bed linen was constantly torn. But at the request they changed it to a nervous one))
Pillows are some kind of misunderstanding, very thin, with a lumpy filler. Because they took an additional one.a place for a child, then they laid out a sofa for us, which constantly moved in different directions and the child just fell to the floor.
Soaps, shampoos, shower gels were put on regularly, but their quality is at the lowest level, the chemistry is chemical. If possible, take your own.
There seems to be a lot of food at breakfast, but everything is kind of tasteless. Often the sliced food smelled like a dirty board, and the dishes smelled like a dirty rag.

+ Достаточно неплохое расположение, в пешей доступности многое.
Номера комфортные, без нареканий к качеству, удобству и т д. (останавливался дважды, с интервалом в год), качественная уборка.
Великолепный СПА с бассейном, и работает до 22.00, т е. вечером можно успеть поплавать/погреться после дел днем. В целом удовлетворительные цены, т.е. соотношение цена/качество вполне устраивает.
- Завтраки, к сожалению, абсолютно не соответствуют заявленным 5 звездам. Для "трёшки" было бы нормально, для 4ки - уже с большим натягом, ну, а 5 звезд там нет даже в теории. Из серии "бедненько, но чистенько". Пожалуй, это единственный серьезный минус.
В остальном - отель можно и нужно рекомендовать.

A clean and cozy hotel! The room is cool, two-room. The bed is very comfortable, I slept comfortably. Large bathrobes and comfortable slippers! Breakfast for a variety of choices! Attentive staff. We didn't have time to get into the pool. And we had a great rest! We will definitely come back!

Была в командировке в Казахстане, останавливалась в отеле Достык. отель выглядит очень достойно, помпезно , входная группа впечатляет!!!! Находится отель в шаговой доступности от станции метро и центра города.Меня встретил радушный персонал отеляпроводили в прекрасный номер. В номере были представлены средства гигиены, халат , тапочки, фен, 2 бутылки воды, чай, кофе, всё очень красиво и достойно, прекрасный интерьер. В ресторане отеля был очень вкусный завтрак с большим выбором блюд на любой вкус. Ещё есть бар ч большим выбором напитков. Так же есть магазин и банкомат на 1 этаже. Всё очень понравилось, не первый раз останавливаюсь в этом отеле. Надеюсь на дальнейшее сотрудничество.

Everything is very authentic here, with a great pleasant view of Abai Kunanbayev Street. I enjoyed spending 2 nights here with my good friend from Tajikistan. Noise insulation at a height, a quiet corridor and, of course, a good location.

Завтраки не понравились: даже универсальные блинчики и оладьи были не вкусные. Кофе по вкусу как порошковый. Удачно из еды омлет и выпечка.
WiFi не очень хороший сигнал, иногда даже страница браузера долго прогружалась. Просмотр фильма/сериала онлайн был невозможен. Обслуживание не дотягивает до 5 звезд: на кружке нашла след/налет от предыдущего напитка постояльца, разводы в ванной комнате. Номер немного уставший - кажется, что косметику давно не обновляли (номер был стандарт). Воду в номере предоставляют. В остальном было чисто. Порадовал теплый пол в ванной комнате, но вот в основной комнате подмерзали ноги. Персонал вежливый.
В стоимость входил СПА, но я не пробовала.

Nice hotel! We lived in a junior suite. I don't recommend it . A very inconvenient entrance . There is no hanger at the entrance , you do not know where to put or raise your outerwear, you throw it on the sofa. There are no really convenient sockets for charging the phone. It 's not thought out ! It 's not thought out at all ! There is a wonderful bathroom, two TVs, and there is nowhere to charge the phone and put outerwear.

Я часто путешествую и могу с уверенностью сказать, что 5 звезд для этого отеля это слишком много. Я бы пару звезд оттуда содрал без зазрения совести. Это отель, которому более 25 лет. По уровню обслуживания максимум 4, по уровню номера старая трешка, по уровню ванной моего номера две звезды ( в душевой на полу белая пластина, прикрученная на саморезы, которая прогибается так, что задумываешься о безопасности). Завтраки терпимые, разнообразия нет, но что-то вкусное все таки найти можно, если поискать. Хорошо поискать) Единственный плюс - расположение, центр.
НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ К ПРОЖИВАНИЮ ДАННЫЙ ОТЕЛЬ. Тем более, что цена не соответствует качеству!

Вполне приличный отель. Кухня просто отличная. Бар работает 24/7. Цены вполне умеренные. И тапочки отличные))). Расположен в центре Алматы, удобно, добираться от аэропорта минут 40-50, персонала ты не видишь, все очень профессионально.

Посещали конференцию, в самом отеле не останавливались, могу сказать только про ресторан и конференц зал . В целом, здание конечно подуставшее, особенно чувствуется в зале ресторана. Но любителям тишины в центре города можно рекомендовать, но кофе выпить негде

Отзывчивый и вежливый персонал. Номера не блещут новизной, но все опрятно.
Самое главное - хорошая локация и отель в советское время принимал первых лиц государства и построен по ГОСТам способным выдержать любое землятресение, что в Алматы иногда случается. Хорошие завтраки и есть бассейн + 2 маленьких спортзала, поддержать форму вполне достаточно. Нормальный wi-fi на всей территории отеля. Хорошие кровати и постельное бельё, выспаться получается хорошо.
