In January 2026, we were a large company (18 people) living in the guest house "Douglas", in the largest three-storey house with 24 rooms. "Douglas" is located in a wooded area (this is the Mussero-Pitsunda Nature Reserve), the air is very clean, it smells of pine needles. It takes 7-10 minutes to walk to the sea at a leisurely pace, through a cypress alley. The friendly host is Daur, he will always explain and tell you everything. The rooms are very clean, tidy, the house itself is made of wood, the interior is also decorated with wood. Our room was a double room, but in addition to a comfortable double bed, there was also a full double bed. There is parking for cars. The center of Pitsunda is also within walking distance. We had breakfast and dinner at the Teremok cafe in the center. I recommend this place to stay in Pitsunda.

Everything is here for both children and adults. A laundry room where clean linen with a gorgeous fragrance will be given to you for a small price. There is a cafe at the entrance where there are delicious breakfasts, khachapuri!!!

We had a rest at the Douglas from 25.09 to 01.10. 2025. This is the fourth time in Abkhazia, so there is something to compare it with. I liked the very cozy, clean area, excellent location, five minutes to the sea, along the way there are many different cafes for any financial request. Wonderful, hospitable, helpful hosts. The rooms are clean and cozy, fully equipped with everything you need. The territory is beautiful, green, everything is made with love. I would also like to thank Esther's girlfriend at the reception. We had a flight at 21 hours from Adler, eviction at 12 hours, they met us halfway and allowed us to stay until 16 hours. They did not charge extra for these 4 hours, which pleasantly surprised us. ! Many complain about the audibility in the rooms. It didn't bother us, after long walks and excursions it was difficult to disturb our sleep. A wonderful place to relax.! I recommend it!
