We stayed at the recreation center "Drivyaty" for 2 nights in the middle of June. We immediately liked the territory and location: comfortable houses surrounded by pine trees, neat lawns, flowers, beautiful nature, a large sandy beach (on the shore there was a sauna, a water sports station, gazebos for companies - everything for a great holiday! Our room was a two-room junior suite - it's more like a huge apartment with views of 2 sides of the world, modern furniture, a large bathroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. There was air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, tea corner. But for some reason there was no hair dryer. Other employees from our group lived in the standards - they are also two-room apartments, but smaller and a little simpler in terms of equipment. We didn't hear any neighbors, the sound insulation is good. The staff of the recreation center and the restaurant is friendly and responds to requests. We had a continental breakfast in the restaurant - everything was delicious and satisfying, although without frills. It was always served hot, although we were a little late. There is a local grocery store on site, our tourists used to buy various tinctures there. We enjoyed staying at the Dryats. It's just a pity that we had so little time to relax.

We had a rest at the recreation center "Drivyaty" from July 6 to July 18, 2025. We stayed in a double room in building 2 ("Blue"). First, the cons. It turned out that major repairs were underway in building 1 ("Yellow"). The construction guys started at exactly 08.00, and sometimes they worked quite noisily. Which pleased me, the mate was practically not heard. I didn't like the bathroom in the room. The door is terribly creaky, the plumbing is very tired. What surprised me was that there was only cold water in the bidet. Although these little things were not critical for us. Now about the advantages. The location of the base is wonderful. Pine trees all around. The base is located on a spit, on both sides of Lake Drivyaty. There is a 100-meter walk from the hull to a small embankment and pier (a small pleasure boat is parked there). Walk in the other direction beyond the base area for 250 meters - the beach. People were actively swimming there (we too), the weather allowed. Take a 5-minute walk towards the city, you will reach the Selmag store. Milk, sausages, chips, ice cream, water, beer, vodka. The center of Braslav is 7 minutes away by car (I parked in the parking lot of the base). By local taxi (there is no Yandex in Braslav) to the center of 8 blr rubles. The Castle Hill, Catholic and Orthodox churches, and the Museum of traditional Culture were visited in the city. It's nice to walk along the city's waterfront with a beach. From catering, we have been to Kavyarna several times (highly recommended), once to On the Edge (recommended), the Braslav lakes restaurant (you can visit, a very interesting territory on the shore of Lake Novyaty). There is a good Vitalich shopping complex (my wife and her sister grazed there regularly at the Kvetak Field flax store). Vitalich has a sooo decent cafe Balash (we sat there 3-4 times). There is something to see in the vicinity of Braslav. We went to the mountain "Mayak" (pink snot), to the Slobodkovskaya ozovaya ridge/trail (4.6 km one way on foot), we were at the lake "God's Eye" (very beautiful). We visited the arboretum in Glubokoe (80 km from Braslav, informative). We even went to Lake Naroch (127 km away) for one day, where we had a rest last year. When traveling to Mayak and Naroch, you must have your passports with you, because you are passing through border control posts (border territories). On the way to the Lighthouse, you can visit the Strustsyansky Prytulak restaurant in the village of Strusto, I highly recommend it. Resume. In terms of location, food (we ate at the restaurant "Drivyat", breakfast-lunch-dinner (included in the price of the package), when we did not go far), opportunities to walk around the city, visit the interesting surroundings of Braslav - the recreation center "Drivyaty" gets a solid "five" from me. Despite some shortcomings. But someone needs something here. We only found ourselves in the room in the evenings before going to bed. And yes, I believe that after repairing Building 1 this year, the administration will take over buildings 2 "Blue" and 3 "Green" in 2026-2027. Keep this in mind if you come here.
