It's amazing that for such a small station, there are so many attractions. Be sure to take your passport with you, although the border guards are very nice and will tell you the way. Be sure to visit this place!!

One of the super provincial railway stations in Belarus. The Druya station is quite deaf and delightful in its own way. Of the passenger trains, there is only a two-large train consisting of a carriage to Vitebsk and a carriage to Minsk (sometimes on peak days the number of carriages to Minsk and (or) Vitebsk is increased to 2 or even 3) The carriages are usually reserved, although sometimes there were additional compartments. The train arrives here at about half past six in the morning and leaves back at 20 o'clock. Freight trains often come here, because several enterprises with access roads operate near the station, which are quite actively used by the railway. Next to the stations there is a bus stop "Druya railway station", from which the bus goes to Braslav. The morning bus after the arrival of the train must wait for a little over an hour, during this time you can go to the center of the village and admire the beautiful view from the high bank of the Dvina and the neighboring Latvian Piedra (near this place in the center of the village there is another bus stop - this is its final one, where it defends itself and then goes back to Breslav again via the railway the station and then along the bypass road goes around the entire Dru making several more stops in it). But the evening bus from Braslav arrives here comfortably enough for a transfer, less than an hour before the train departs. The village is located in the border zone, it is often patrolled by border guards, sometimes they already meet the train and immediately ask passengers to show their documents. Don't forget your passport if you come here. I travel all my hiking trips to the Braslav region from Minsk by this transfer route - although it takes longer than by direct bus from Minsk to Braslav, it is much more comfortable and you immerse yourself completely in the railway romance of provinciality. You can sleep on the train at night. And the money comes out the same as on a direct bus. Therefore, to and from Braslav only by train to Druja with a transfer to the bus to Braslav!

Great place! I came to meet the train in the morning. The roosters are singing, the cows are mooing, the local has led the horse to the pasture.
