Mount Durmitor is a large and beautiful nature reserve. One of the five located in Montenegro, with its center in the city of Zabljak. The black lake surrounded by a spruce forest is probably the main attraction, as only specially trained people can climb the mountain itself. Beauty is everywhere! There is a walking route around the lake. There is a toilet, restaurant, boat rental on site.

A beautiful northern place in Montenegro! We walked around the lake, through the forest, the nature is gorgeous! There is a nice restaurant. The views for the photo are great, the air is clean, it's cool! People are fishing)

The north of Montenegro. Our road ran through the Durmitor Nature Park. Black Lake is located here at an altitude of 1,418 m. Then the landscape outside the car window changed dramatically. There was a desire to stop at every turn of the winding road to admire the splendor of nature. Words and photographs cannot convey this. You have to see it with your own eyes. At the end of the descent of the mountain road, the most beautiful Beer Lake opened its eyes. It was formed in 1975, when the hydroelectric power plant was being built. In some places, its depth reaches 200 m. It is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Europe. In the evening we returned to Budva to the warm sea. Sitting by the sea, remembering the two days spent in the north of Montenegro, you realize how different it is. Below is the warm sea, hotels, resorts, yachts, restaurants, and up there in the mountains is the pristine beauty created by nature itself. That's what Montenegro is like!!!

One of the most wonderful places to visit if you are traveling in Montenegro. We rented a car. We arrived in the morning. There weren't many people. The views are amazing. We walked around the perimeter slowly. Fairy tale. I highly recommend you to visit.
