The central square of the city of Kobrin has long been called the Castle Square, because it was located near the walls of the Lower Castle. However, in the 20th century, another name was attached to it – Banking. The fact is that in 1912 the building of the loan noble bank appeared on the square. In addition to its practical benefits, it was also of architectural interest. After all, the building was built in the classical style with arches and six massive columns. Today, the building has been transferred to the Kobrin Registry Office, and it is still an ornament of the city. It is currently under renovation.
