A unique structure with amazing architecture and crazy imagination of the architect and the prince, a place of incredible energy and beauty, definitely worth visiting, but it's a matter of chance to visit, the passage to the territory is closed due to reconstruction, options: approach the green fence with a gate and if the watchman is nearby, try to negotiate, usually 300-500 rubles per person for 30 min visits, a tried and tested option, you can still somehow get through the Gagripsh restaurant, but I don't know for sure, and the third option is to try to find local people who can take a tour there, but you definitely need to visit inside!!!

We couldn't go through and see the ruins of the palace - everything is blocked and closed. But we went up from the side of the railway stop along a thin path and saw very beautiful views, a little debris of the palace and the progress of restoration.

Except that it's a beautiful view, but in general you can't approach this castle, everything is closed and it's not clear when it will be opened. We thought maybe there would be some kind of security, give us a paw to get through, but everything is deaf, except to take a picture next to it. So in general there are two passages. The first one didn't even take a picture, just a blue healthy fence like on construction sites, and the second one is higher, to which the steps lead to a lattice door. That was the end of the whole "visit" to the castle.

It looks good from a distance, but the territory is closed, repairs are underway and you can't get there. They write that the territory is private. I wish there were some warnings at the beginning of the climb that it is closed and not to get in, and not after you climb up and see a sign on the closed gate. After all, everywhere they write about it and talk about it as a landmark, it is not surprising that there is a desire to visit.

Of course, a lot has already been redone and the walls are also partially made of blocks, restoration has begun, but slowly.The fireplace and the views certainly impressed, it's a pity all the passages are closed and concreted. Красиво, любим с детьми заброшки, ещё и с таким шикарным видом. Очень необычный камин, балконы, стена из скалы.
Самый большой минус, то что берут деньги за вход, без билетов, документов, такое ощущение, что просто парочка неофициально берёт деньги.( 150руб/человек вроде не много, но хоть бы какой то чек, понимать, что потом это пойдёт на реставрацию )

We were there in April, nothing special. There are girls sitting at the entrance who take money for visiting the castle, although it is completely unclear why. The upper part of the castle was bought by someone, and the lower part is not being restored in any way, just ruins. Only the sea view is beautiful.

Возьмите фотоаппарат. За 150р можно устроить отличную фотосессию. Место для тех,кто любит заброшки и красивые виды.
Часть замка в состоянии реконструкции. Башня почти отреставрирована, крыша накрыта во многих местах. Основная часть замка заброшена и не досмотрена. Я могу понять, что ремонт сделать везде сразу сложно, но мусор они в состоянии убрать, но, к сожалению, никому нет до этого дела.

Отличное место. Вид открывается восхитительный. Конечно, если искать во всём только плохое, то можно сказать, что это не ухоженная заброшка, но лично я могу представить как всё было и без современной реставрации. Единственный момент, если вы идёте с детьми, следите за ними в оба глаза. Нет огрождений, нет предупреждающих знаков. А так место очень красивое. В охотничий домик пройти нельзя, но с 3 этажа его прекрасно видно

Обязательно к посещению, отличное историческое место города Гагра. Не берите туры сюда, сходите сами, хотя все как будто скрываются это место, а те кто продает туры ни когда вам не скажут местонахождение этого места. Находится в самом начале старой Гагры со стороны Цантрипша, на высоте 50 метров у заброшенной многоярусной заброшенной автомобильной парковки. Всем мира и добра!

Поехали в этот замок самостоятельно. Вход стоил, если правильно помню, 300 рублей.
Это очень красивое, антуражное, атмосферное старинное здание. Его можно обойти примерно за 40 минут полностью и не торопясь. Там получатся очень красивые фотографии. И с замка открываются просто потрясающие виды на Гагру и на горы. Думаю, что ценителей заброшенных исторических зданий, равнодушными замок не оставит.

Для своего времени был отличный дворец, даже шахта лифта имеется. Шикарный вид из окон и с балконов. Из минусов - какие то алкаши за забором их профлиста собирают 150₽ за вход, билеты не дают, по-братски всё, но это нормально для Абхазии. Внутри куча мусора и риск провалиться сквозь дыру в бетоне или с балкона без ограждения. С детьми нельзя
