To describe the Eiffel Tower (La Tour Eiffel) is not to respect the reader. So much has been written about her that it is probably impossible to read everything. Contemporaries are not always able to appreciate the grandeur of the building and its significance in the future. I will tell you my impressions. As a technician, I consider the tower to be an amazing structure from an engineering point of view and design. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The Embassy of the Czech Republic is located a stone's throw from this tower. In a building that was donated to Czechoslovakia in 1918 by France.

We tried to buy tickets online in advance to visit the tower, but in vain. Travel agencies buy out the top time even before the start of sales. But getting to the tower is no problem by buying tickets on the spot. Each leg of the tower has a cash register. Look at the symbols, there is an elevator symbol, on it you can climb to level 2 and there, after standing in another queue, climb to the upper level. There is a symbol of a man walking up the steps. You will buy a ticket at these ticket offices and can walk up to the second level, and there you can also take the elevator to the upper one. The queue is at the bottom of the foot of the tower, it takes 40-60 minutes. You can say it's not noticeable. It is about 5 € cheaper on foot than by elevator.

Judging by the conversations in the queue, most of them were our compatriots, and there was no French at all. And a glass of champagne upstairs can't create an atmosphere of romance. The only pleasure is to look at the beam of the tower's searchlight at night.

At the very top, you can drink champagne for a dizzying price per 100 ml, but there are those who wish and there is even a long queue. The first level has a restaurant and a souvenir shop. Eiffel is sitting on the third level and discussing the design of his building (waxy, but eerily real). If you are afraid of queues, then they move fast enough, although it is worth going up to the first level.

As you know, the only place in Paris where the tower would not be visible is the tower itself) I've been on all her floors. The third (topmost) is for photos only, but only in good weather. When there is low cloud cover, visibility at the top is frankly poor. And even when there is a small breeze on the ground, the top shakes decently. There is frankly nothing to do on the ground floor. So the best option is the second floor. There are cafes and souvenir shops here, and actually the whole party is happening here) I was in Paris for the first time in 2000. The travel agency immediately offered (as a bonus) a ticket to the tower in advance. Arrived-arrived at the tower and immediately bypassing the huge queue (for tickets) you go to the elevator. The last time was in May 2019, there was no such "option"...and the queue got even bigger. It was 10 a.m. on a great May day, it was possible to stand, but the grandson looked and said....her grandfather didn't give it to her - we went to Disneyland right away. Well, that's what we did)

We stood in the center under the tower, made a lap of honor) The eldest daughter dreamed of watching. They turn on the lights for 5 minutes, exactly at 20.00, 21.00. You can climb up in various ways, all paid, but the price is different. The first level: only on foot is a children's option, the view of the city is so-so. Middle level: on foot or by elevator. The panorama is gorgeous! Upper level: only by elevator, in my opinion, it is too high for viewing the surroundings, it resembles a view from space)).
