Now there are two old carriages next to the old town hall of Minsk. One is a shiny and shining carriage, waiting, apparently, for some kind of princess with a prince, and this one, simpler, is waiting for a famous and honored man - Zachary Korneev, the first governor of Minsk. The bronze composition was installed in 2007 in honor of the city day. The author is the famous Belarusian sculptor Vladimir Zhbanov. The sculpture was erected in honor of the first governor of Minsk. In his high position as governor, Korneev showed great initiative: He laid out two city gardens and significantly improved the landscaping of the city. While the governor is busy at the town hall, you can sit in the carriage and even take a picture.
