Earlier, when the old ambassador was working, it seemed to me that he was not working very well. But at the same time, he could receive visitors any day or during the embassy's opening hours, and there were no problems dialing him personally on the phone and he explained which documents needed to be collected and on what day to arrive to close this or that issue. Now, in my opinion, the work of the embassy has turned into some kind of bureaucratic apparatus. Because to get to an appointment, you need to email, send the documents, then call to find out if they have arrived or not, after which you get into standby mode and wait for your appointment time. This is if the documents are in order and you don't need to collect anything else, and if you need to collect something else, then you do everything again in the second round. From my experience, I can only say one thing: when the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus was not in Doha, I had to contact the Embassy of the Russian Federation. And to be honest, the bureaucracy there is much less and issues are solved much more efficiently. In conclusion, they can only add that this is my point of view!
