As a foreigner staying there with almost no Russian, the staff were very welcoming and kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable considering the price, bathrooms and showers were also kept clean throughout the day. The other guests were also ok and usually kept quiet so I was able to get good rest. I recommend Esenin if you are a solo traveller and want to experience the Russian dormitory style housing. The prices are cheap and the vibes are good. I give a solid 5 stars to the hostel. Thanks Anton and others. Much appreciated.
