There are cheaper and more expensive options around, but if you need two or three nights not quite close to the train stations and there is almost no choice, then go here. The rooms are cramped, but this is generally typical of any hotel in a historic building: this one also has a kind of coziness, so choose to enjoy the atmosphere rather than suffer from claustrophobia. The main recommendation for small hotels in the area is not to expect miracles at all, not to believe the photos and not to make high demands. Sometimes it will seem to you that you are in Magnitogorsk. At such times, remember that from here it's a half-hour walk to the Sacre Coeur and half an hour to Notre Dame. I won't say about the rooms facing the street, but the room facing the courtyard is very quiet, calm and dark (the courtyard is a triangular well). The fact that it's dark is exactly a plus, because you immediately have a natural blackout in the morning, and the room doesn't heat up on a hot summer day. So, if possible, take rooms with windows facing inside in the summer))) Do not expect air conditioning, as in many similar hotels in old houses. Open the windows, go out to sit in the courtyard in the greenery, it's very nice and cozy. There is breakfast, but we did not use it. Having breakfast in small non-chain hotels is generally not interesting - it's better to go to the nearest bakery with good reviews: for the same price, if not less, you will have the atmosphere, croissants straight from the oven, and coffee. And you will eat what you have chosen, not what is left. There is a small kettle in the room, which means you can make yourself a drip coffee, pour boiling water over the oatmeal, and make yourself cocoa in the evening. In short, if you are not in the city for work and plan to spend the night in the room only, then book. If you leave early in the morning in the direction of the Sacre Coeur and somehow drag yourself to the hotel by nightfall, no sound insulation will prevent you from sleeping, a shower of any size will make you absolutely happy and you will not pay attention to the renovation in the room.

The main thing is to use the Gare de l'est metro station for transportation: both the road to the station from the hotel and the station are nice, clean and beautiful. And here's the Chateau d station.’Oh, I don't recommend walking, there's already a lot of fu on the way, all sorts of different things are not very pleasant either to the eyes or to the nose, a peculiar atmosphere.
