An interesting monument, the genuine memory of the dead is visible. Most of all, I was struck by the 2 alleys with columns extending from the monument. In them, memory books are arranged in the form of books with copper sheets. You can scroll through and see endless lists of those who died by name, with years of life, sometimes the date of death is not specified. Families can come and show their grandchildren a page with memories of their ancestors. The dead soldiers of the Afghan war are also listed in recent books.

Neither add nor subtract... perhaps the best memorial to the eternal flame that I have ever seen... Without the Kremlin pathos, simply and with dignity. With all possible respect for the fallen heroes. The figure of the mother is especially appropriate, there are no attributes of war. And also beautifully executed eternal lists of fighters... I was here on May 9th. A quiet, peaceful place. The eternal flame, the sculpture "grieving mother" and around the shields, on which the names of soldiers and officers of Uzbekistan who died in the Patriotic War are engraved.

Eternal Flame is a place where you can immerse yourself in another incredible world. Looking into it, you can see the dead soldiers who honorably guarded their flag until the end of their minutes. A suffering mother who, having sent her son, husband, father or brother, spends every moment with the hope that her loved ones will return from the war unharmed.

The Uzbek people lost a lot of their sons in the Great Patriotic War, the Uzbek people helped the front a lot, many strategic factories were urgently transferred to supply weapons and humanitarian supplies, glory to the victorious people for the war. The statue of the Grieving Mother over the eternal flame itself is beautifully executed, it gives us to think about how difficult it was and the loss of all Mothers.

A significant place for everyone without exception. Together, our nations defended their homeland and won. Such exploits and sacrifices of our ancestors should not be forgotten . All Soviet peoples are brothers. And I am very glad that the Uzbek people receive guests in such a way and honor memory and friendship in such a way. Tribute to the memory and respect of the victims of the Great Patriotic War should be given always and everywhere, regardless of time, weather and nationality. It's a very beautiful place. Well maintained. The Senate building and the Palace of the President of Uzbekistan are nearby. On the bank of the Ankhor River. The entrance and passage through the territory are closed from 23:00
