The hotel fully corresponds to its name Ethnika Old..
We had a double room with a long beautiful definition of its class 😆 "Deluxe Double Room, 1 Double Bed, Sea View" with breakfast...for 12,000 rubles for 3 nights
Positive:
- location, near the Marmarray station, convenient access to SAW airport and all attractions nearby
- a couple of bottles of drinking water
- comfortable bed
- clean bed linen
- availability of all toilet and bathroom accessories, except toothbrushes;
- 3rd floor, bay view, room window facing the quiet side.
The view from the window- well, it wouldn't be bad if the window wasn't small and filled with a bed...
that's it.
Cons:
- the furniture, and the room as a whole, are "tired"
- dirty, general cleaning has not been done for a long time. There's dust everywhere. The walls of the toilet are covered in mold, plumbing in plaque or rust
- the kettle was scalded, the tea cups were brown from dust, there were no spoons or tea with sugar
- staff, young guys, "frostbitten"
- breakfast is strictly from 8:00 - 10:00. Strangely enough, people on vacation have to get up in the morning to have time to eat. We did it at least until 11:00...😕
- the breakfast is portioned, poor, looks like leftovers. If you're lucky, you'll get a couple of pieces of sausage and tea. After the first attempt, we decided not to go anymore, it's not worth it. Better get some sleep.
- audibility from the hallway, just like everywhere else. But we were probably lucky, there was no one on the floor.
Well , it 's clearly not up to the DeLuxe level .
We stayed here with the children in 2020, it was much better, both with breakfast and with service. Apparently something went wrong 🤔
A huge disadvantage of the booking service is the lack of photos of the room to understand what you are paying for and the lack of direct communication with a foreign hotel to coordinate the time of check-in and clarify the necessary information.

Pros: location - near the metro and tourist attractions, cleanliness - clean linen, very dirty floor, toilet and bath are average.
Otherwise, the cons: the staff is frostbitten, the breakfast is without coffee and very modest (we were in the same hotel a few years ago - it was better).
The result is that the first time I stayed was much better, perhaps it was bad luck or it got worse at the hotel itself.

I didn't like the hotel, in my opinion, the rating in Yandex is too high.
Specifically
Minuses:
- I would not call it a hotel, rather, a hostel with individual rooms above the restaurant.
- the room is small and stuffy
"the maid hasn't come in three nights."
- for three nights they didn't find a towel (!), although they promised every day
- the "tired" room
was not very important to me, my family was in the hotel next door, in fact, I only slept in this room for two nights, but under other circumstances I would have been unhappy and with unjustified expectations
- the audibility is very good (but this is a feature of all hotels in the area)
Positive:
- the restaurant itself has decent food, and the breakfasts are also normal
- location
- price
The Internet is normal, but I didn't have video conferences over the weekend, I used messengers, and I had my own backup Internet; the circles didn't load very quickly)
We are not talking about four stars.
