We flew to Istanbul and the taxi driver took us to this "hotel"... since we hadn't booked anything, we just needed to stay one night, it didn't matter which room. Well, the taxi driver said, yes, it's late, it's the season, everything is busy, but I'll take you to a nice, inexpensive place. Apparently they're on the same team there. I took her to this diner. They gave us a "room" just in the basement... and okay, that's just for us to spend the night, but because of our desperation to charge 4K lire for it.... Four thousand lire for a basement??? Don't stay here under any circumstances! It's a terrible place! And they'll charge you for a nice, tidy hotel!!!
