We were at the hotel from April 17 to April 24, 2024. The hotel is excellent, the room is super, everything is there, a bed in which rest is a pleasure, a TV, a mini-bar. Excellent restaurant, room service. The breakfasts are substantial, there is everything you need. The main highlight of the hotel is the spa center with a 25-meter swimming pool and a fitness center. The best impressions were left from the rest at the hotel. I recommend you to visit. Thanks to all the hotel staff for their work. We will definitely return to this hotel. Eugene and Love.

Inconvenient location, an old hotel in need of renovation. It's hard to get there, taxi drivers don't want to go this way because of traffic jams, and the subway is far away. There is nothing near the hotel.
In half of the rooms, the windows are tightly closed, there is no fresh air, the hood is working loudly, and the smells of food from the restaurant downstairs are often heard. The staff is friendly and courteous.

We really enjoyed staying here for a short vacation in Baku. I will explain why:
1. This is, though a little tired, but a very beautiful and good-quality hotel with a sports complex and two swimming pools - on the street and inside. We had a great swim in the outdoor pool at the end of September, although the season was already over.
2. Rooms with a view of the Heydar Aliyev Center, everything you need. A little small and the mattress is a little soft, but very cozy.
3. Great variety of breakfasts. It was important for me: freshly squeezed orange juice, national dishes, freshly prepared omelets, a daily changing assortment, fruits and fresh honey in honeycombs.
4. Perfect service. Everyone knows Russian and this greatly facilitates the task. We had some trouble in the room - so we were instantly moved to an even better one.
5. The location is a little far from the center, but a Bolt or Uber taxi arrives quickly and takes you for 2.5 - 3 manats where you need. Walking to everything (except the center of Aliyev) is very far and quite difficult because of the many overpasses and interchanges.
6. The Internet is great everywhere.

Not a bad hotel. It is located in the center, next to the Heydar Aliyev Center. It takes 10 minutes to get to the embankment by taxi.
Large rooms. We had a room with a Jacuzzi and a dressing room. 2 SOUS, shower room. The bed is very comfortable and soft. Delicious and varied breakfasts. There is an ATM in the hotel where you can exchange currency at a good rate.
Of the cons: the hotel is "tired", of course. Renovation is already desirable in the rooms or dry cleaning of everything. There was a strong smell of dust in the dressing room. The sofa was disassembled for the children, but the mattress was just terrible: the springs are felt and creak.

Pros: SPA. Huge swimming pool. Sauna and hammam, a good masseuse, a chic gym.
The building is beautiful, the interior decoration is beautiful. At the reception they go to a meeting in any situation. We arrived and did not have time to change the money, we were allowed to pay on any day of our stay - it's nice.
Cons, there are more of them, unfortunately:
The location to the center is far away, you can't walk. Yes, the taxi is cheap, but I want to walk, the surroundings of the hotel do not allow it. On one side there is an overpass, on the other there is a railway, it is very noisy.
The room stock is outdated, the hotel clearly needs renovation. Half - Soviet times, the parquet is all shabby. We took an expensive royal king suite, we had a Jacuzzi in the room. We spent half an hour figuring out how to turn it on, then half an hour how to turn it off. It seems to have been sorted out, but in the middle of the night, suddenly the Jacuzzi spontaneously started working.
Breakfast: disgusting coffee, brewed, it's a shame to serve such coffee in 5 stars, it's impossible to drink. At the same time, a good cappuccino is made in the bar, but it costs 9 manats, about 400 rubles. Packaged juices, tasteless fruits, this is with a variety of delicious fruits and berries in Azerbaijan! Baking is dry.
Service. On the one hand, it is convenient, there is an application, you can use it to order food or drink in the room, but it seems that the hotel staff does not view it, because our order began to be prepared only after the call and they did not always answer our call.
The mini-bar is empty. It was generally a shock for us, a 5-star hotel, an expensive room and this despite the fact that the menu for the mini-bar is in the application.
Transfer : The hotel indicates everywhere that they have an airport transfer service. At our request to order a transfer, we were offered to order a taxi to Bolt, we could do it ourselves. It's not a problem to order a taxi, then why write about the transfer everywhere?
Tips. In Azerbaijan, tips are included in the 10% check everywhere, the hotel is no exception, but the service staff does not give change.

The hotel has its own swimming pool and a gym free of charge for hotel guests. Nice bar. The hotel's restaurant is suitable for dinner, but, unfortunately, does not have a large selection of dishes on the menu. An ATM with the possibility of currency exchange is located near the reception. In the evening, some rooms of the hotel offer a nice view of the Aliyev Museum.

Overall, the hotel is not bad. But it feels like it was built a long time ago and is slowly moving away from today's standards for the money you pay. The rooms are shabby, the ventilation is taped. The staff is impeccable, everyone is very friendly and friendly. All issues are resolved quickly.
When we stayed at the hotel, in fact, there was almost no one there except us. And that's why, instead of a buffet breakfast, they prepared a bunch of food items for us.

I bought a room for my mother and her friend so that they could relax and visit Baku.
I hoped that they would rest comfortably, as the hotel looked very presentable at first glance and positions itself as a five-star.
BUT! The condition of the room left much to be desired. At the first inspection of the room, everything was good and beautiful.
While living there, my mother repeatedly complained that the cards for the room are constantly demagnetized and it is impossible to open the door to the room. It's a small thing, but I don't really want to go to the reception all the time. Also, in the room (not the cheapest, by the way), the darkening of the glass in the bathroom worked every other time and everything that happened in the bathroom was on view of the whole room.
Of course, the beds look very comfortable, but they have a metal frame and metal sticks out in the corners, which is constantly being kicked.
The toilet generally flushes every other time. Either the button does not work, or there are some problems with the water supply.
Also a terrible problem with windows. Arriving at the hotel, the room was very stuffy and my mother wanted to open the window. As a result, the window handle remained in the hand, but the window itself did not open. I would also like to say about drafts from the windows. It's December outside, terrible and cold winds, and the room is whistling and cold because of the poor insulation of the windows.
But the apogee of all was deception on the part of the hotel staff. After leaving the room, having paid all additional expenses, we asked to order a taxi for us and noted that we would like to order LEVC TX, which stand near the airport (the famous "London taxi"), as we wanted to get there comfortably.
They explained it several times and the staff completely understood us, as they even called us their taxi-eggplant or red taxi. They said that we have nothing to worry about and now they will order it, they called the cost 30-35 manats (we had no idea that something else would arrive and they did not understand us, since we arrived from the airport to the hotel for the same price in such a taxi). They clarified that it would arrive in 10 minutes.
We were fully expecting him at the agreed time and were very surprised when the Nissan Tilda arrived (for 30 manats??! Seriously?). We say that this is not our taxi, but the staff claimed that it is ours.
We were shocked, but we didn't have time to order another taxi and wait for it, since we were already late for the airport.
We might as well order a taxi through Bolt for 5 manats and get there in the same conditions and by the same car! But it was fundamentally a "London taxi" for us, as we wanted to take my mother so that she was comfortable, so we turned to the staff in the hope of their help. They assured us that everything was fine and that this was the taxi they would order for us. The question arises: why, if they do not have the opportunity to order this type of taxi, they do not say "Sorry, we cannot order such a car", but say "Everything is fine, it will arrive now" and order some nonsense 6 times more expensive than through the application. But the most interesting thing is that the driver who drove us is also the hotel staff, as we saw him coming out of the utility room.
The impression was terrible. We will no longer use the services of this hotel and I do not recommend it to anyone.
