Actually, Dzerzhinsky was thin and broad-shouldered, it is impossible to call him. And here we see a bust of an almost epic Russian hero in a greatcoat. The intelligent face is very similar to the portrait of Anton Chekhov. In 1947, on the 70th anniversary of the famous Chekist, this monument was erected near the State Security Committee of Belarus, the authors of which were sculptor Z. I. Azgur and architect V. M. Volchek. The impressive bust of Felix Edmundovich is made of bronze. It stands on a strict granite pedestal. A complex figure in Soviet and Belarusian history.

The monument to Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky in the center of Minsk has not only not been demolished (like some), but is also in excellent condition. Even flowers are laid periodically. And that's right: this is our story, and let everyone keep their attitude to it to themselves! Actually, this is a bust of a famous man, behind which there is a square with fountains, and with the Dynamo stadium at the end. A good place to walk and feed pigeons!
