Review of the Fantasia-De-Lux Hotel 1. Overall impression and occupancy · The hotel was built in 1989, and the last renovation was carried out in 2008. This explains the somewhat outdated infrastructure and frequent equipment failures. · We arrived on 10.10.2024 at 08:00 a.m. The reception staff was polite, but we were not provided with a room. It was possible to check in only closer to 15:00. 2. Number · Plus: The daily room cleaning was carried out efficiently. · Cons: · The room was cold, especially considering it was already October outside. · We were given a blanket only on the 5th day of our stay; before that, we did not know if it was provided at all. · There were no basic hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner) in the bathroom. There was only toilet paper and two dispensers: one with soap and one with something resembling shower gel. 3. Food (Restaurant) · All the food in the main restaurant was excessively greasy and oily, which is probably a feature of the local cuisine. · There was a variety of dishes, but in fact the same food was served at each meal with minor changes (for example, fish and meat were alternated). · A critical disadvantage: In the last days of rest, we were severely poisoned. Since we ate exclusively at the hotel, the possibility of poisoning on the side is excluded. 4. Drinks and bars · Mini bar: There was a free mini-bar in the room, which was replenished daily. It included: tea, coffee, 3 bottles of Mirinda, 3 bottles of mineral water, 3 cans of Cola and 3 cans of Tuborg beer. The hotel did not offer any other beers. · Lobby Bar: A 24-hour bar where you could get Tuborg beer and simple local cocktails. Nothing particularly good or bad can be said about him. · Pool and beach bars: Three pool bars were open (until 18:00) and one beach bar. · Summer "Restaurant": The pool area was open from 12:00 to 16:00, where burgers, hot dogs, pizza, nuggets and ice cream were prepared. It was a great option for a light and delicious snack. 5. Beach, entertainment and service · Beach: The beach does not have a normal entrance to the sea. Entry is carried out only by stairs, which immediately leads to the depths. We had to go to the neighboring beaches to swim. · Entertainment: There is no entertainment near the water. Renting a motorbike and other services is highly overpriced (for example, 10,000 rubles for 20 minutes). · Animation: At a very low level. Every day, at the same time, two men came out and performed the same dance to the same song. The evening mini-shows and games were strange (for example, games where you need to pop balls with your bodies). · Language barrier: The staff barely understands Russian. Basic knowledge of English is necessary, otherwise you cannot do without an interpreter. · The main advantage: All the staff in the bars and canteen were extremely polite and helpful. 6. Final assessment and conclusion · Ratings given: · Room Service: 4 · Room: 2 · Food: 2.5 · Staff (courtesy): 5 · Animation: 1 · Entertainment programs: 1 · Drinks: 3.5 · The hotel as a whole: 3 Once it was a "Fantasy", but now it is a gradually dying out hotel that confidently attracts 3 stars, but not 5.

The hotel is not bad. The food is delicious, buffet style. There are a lot of vegetables, fruits, uninteresting fish, lamb meat is served in portions by the dispenser, the rest is free, there was porridge in the morning, but there is no hot except sausages and fried eggs. Food in the morning until 10, then fast food in the pool cafe from 12 to 16.30, Drinks only in the bars around the beach and pool, Turkish coffee is brewed only in the hotel bar. The pools are different from 0.5m to 3x, very clean. The animation by the pool is active. The beach is on a platform, the umbrellas are low and small, and shade is a big problem. Descent into the water by ladders, depth from 1.5 to 2.5 m. The rooms are stale, the bed is threefold, the mattresses are old pillows like in a Soviet hospital, but the staff is trying very hard, swans are spinning). No one speaks Russian at the hotel. The guide Svetlana from Biblio Globus was inattentive and ungracious, because she had no time and there were almost no Russians in the hotel, she was praised in another hotel. The hotel is a 25-minute walk (3 stops) from the AVM shopping center and this is good, there are mosquitoes by the sea in the evening (June), the show is of course for an amateur or for children.And also from Bodrum airport to the hotel 150km (2 hours by bus)

We rested from 09/21/24 to 09/28/24. Let's start with arrival, we arrived at 8.00 at the hotel, there are really no Russian-speaking employees in the hotel, check-in at 14.00 and not an hour earlier, but this is only for Russians. About 10 people came with us, mostly English, Scots and Germans, so they were settled as soon as the rooms were vacated, and we were ignored. The hotel is old, of course you can find fault with everything, but we came to relax, buy up, relax. The only thing that killed was the air conditioner, which worked like a tractor, it was difficult to fall asleep, if possible, they opened the balcony door at night. Yes, there is absolutely no shower gel and shampoo, no hats, an empty table in the bathtub.There is no beach as such, we should have brought sand, but we saw and knew that the descent from the concrete slab did not bother us. The main thing is a gorgeous sea, clean, smells of watermelons, and if you want a gentle descent, you need to go 15 meters away and there is a wonderful descent and an interesting bottom, for those who like to swim with a mask and there is no limit to buoys. The food, like everywhere else in Turkey, is neither better nor worse than in other hotels. Everything is delicious, everything is fresh, there are no special delights, and that's not why people go on vacation. The hotel is aimed at Europeans, there are almost no Russians 2-3%. I would have come again- no, but I was satisfied with the rest, it all depends on us, with what mood we come and why, but you can find dirty dishes, not very clean carpet, old furniture, bad chairs and sun beds in any hotel.
