A couple of decades have passed, but the Farhad bazaar is still popular and being updated for the better. There are parking lots nearby, and a variety of goods. There are even small shops with household goods. Fresh fish, meat, poultry are all there and there is a choice. Fruits, of course, are no longer mostly local, but there is a choice and a wide variety. There are dried fruits and even sumalak in winter)) Greens all year round! Great bazaar!

Farhad Bazaar is a real paradise for lovers of fresh food! Prices here don't bite at all, they are among the lowest in Tashkent: vegetables, fruits, meat, milk and even spices can be bought really profitably, especially if you come to a wholesale sale in the morning.

Whenever I come to Tashkent, I visit this market, here you will find everything, fruits, vegetables, spices, nuts, oriental halva, everything that a tourist needs to bring with him from fabulous Tashkent! There are several stops from the Chilanzar metro station. Inside there is everything you need from food. In the pavilions on the left, next to the cheese shop, you can meet a guy selling a variety of teas and medicinal herbs. If you arrive early in the morning at 5 or 6 o'clock, then in the rows right on the way to the parking lot you can find a wholesale market of fresh vegetables and fruits at low prices + you can bargain, but after 8 a.m. the bidding ends and the parking lot is cleaned as if there was no one I advise you to visit an amazing place.

I really like this bazaar! There are very affordable prices for fruits and vegetables, the bazaar itself is very large and well organized. I especially liked the fact that you can pay not only in cash. This is not the case in all bazaars in Tashkent. I visit that area once a week, and I don't miss the opportunity to visit this bazaar. An excellent and large selection of everything, to the right of the bazaar is the Dehkan market, where everything is still cheaper. I always take fresh fish there at the end of the market, and for those who eat pork, Irina has a great point, and the price and quality are great, but they sort it out quickly. The choice of meat is excellent, honey, dried fruits, even Issyk-Kul currants.
