Let's just say, for its name, that is, it is up to the favorite of this hotel as a new copper pot to rust. As mentioned above, the furniture, at least in the room where I was, was old and battered. Unpleasant odors were also present not only in the room but also in the lobby itself. In short, as I understand it, four stars were given to this hotel so from the lantern. The only plus that I noticed was that the woman at the reception tried to be as polite and attentive as possible.

The advantages are a couple of steps from the airport.
The cons are everything else. Furniture from the 90s, plumbing from the 90s, the staff is rude.
We were in January 2023, due to the delay in transferring to our flight, the airline paid for it. We stopped by late at night. The room was +3-+5 degrees Celsius, steam was coming out of his mouth. The room has dirty curtains, collapsed cupboards, a hard sofa book, icy floors.
I remembered the manager's phrase well - here's the last number - I don't like it, you can go anywhere.
I will gladly follow this advice and will never come even close to this flophouse, which I wish you :)

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. Clean, tidy, simple, but tasteful. The price fully corresponds to the quality — an excellent ratio. We were pleased with the breakfasts: the choice was small, but each option turned out to be delicious. I recommend it for a short stay!

It's terribly dirty, everything is old, the staff is not friendly. The prices are too high. The bed linen smells like it was dried in a smoking room. We are very disappointed. I believe that hotels near the airport should be at the highest level. Moreover, there are so many tourists and places of interest in Almaty. I hope they didn't bring any bugs in the bag with them

Hotel 10 out of 10 I come here for 10 years, I stay for 2-3 weeks, everything has always been great. Room cleaning and laundry are all super. Large + there is a sauna.
There is a large supermarket and many cafes nearby.

I do not advise even for one night, the reception staff is rude, except for two women, the rest belittle the Russians, their director talks disgustingly with both the guests and the staff. The rooms are charming, the girls who clean are trying, polite, I'm very sorry for them, as well as the two girls at the reception. That they work in such a place. There's a lot of noise, some junkies, the police. It is impossible to sleep, the beds are such that you will not wish the enemy. Wasted money. The prices for accommodation are one or the other. It's better to rent a hostel than this wonderful place. And the saddest thing is that if you paid in advance, then the money will not be returned to you, even 50 percent.

We rented two different rooms, before departure from Almaty and upon arrival (with an interval of a week), while the price was raised from 10,000 tenge to 35,000 TENGE!!! It was said at the reception that this is the price for you (Russians) now... I made this conclusion when I went to investigate the lack of hot water. To local residents, I had a room rented for 8000 tenge. To my question why there is such a difference, the answer was "if you don't want it, don't take it." We slept in our clothes. It feels like tractors were repaired in the rooms, and then just swept with a broom.. Half of the lighting was not working in the "hotel", or even more ...
Even if there is nowhere to spend the night, you will stay at the airport sitting on your suitcases - it is sterile there (compared to this "hotel"!

The hotel is not called a favorite, but "be patient, you can do it.".. The situation is like in the Middle Ages... Everything is ancient, creaky and smelly.. .. they took the money, but there are zero conditions.. the lighting is darker than on the street by the lamppost...Shuffled bath and toilet mats. By the way. There is only cold water in the bathroom... The only thing that is more or less new is the parquet from the early 2000s, probably.... Don't stop here!

I've never seen anything terrible in my life. We rented a room for 18,000 tenge in one night, although this room is not worth 3,000 tenge. Everything is dirty there, the bathroom stank of something, the side of the toilet was without a lid, there was hair on the floor, the boiler was continuously squeaking. Not a bed, but a folding sofa as hard as a stone. There are no curtains on the window, there is only a torn tulle. The furniture is at least 30 years old. The staff is strange, not fish, not meat. We arrived at night and out of desperation stayed at this hotel because it is located 5 minutes on foot from the airport. I don't advise anyone!
