Admission is free. The castle, which is set up in a magnificent coastal view, and the ancient city, which is still being uncovered around it, are continuing. The navigation area of the castle is very small. Inside, columns and stonework belonging to the period are exhibited. Another common name of the city is Tieion. According to St. Stephanos, this word, which is mentioned in some sources as Tieion (Tion-Tiun), comes from the priest Tios, the founder of the city (in the sense of the city of Tios). The province of Paflagonia was established in the area where the territory of Bithynia intersected. With the end of the Persian king kros to the Lydian Kingdom, the Filios Region was connected to Iran and then to Macedonia together with Paflagonia during the time of Alexander the Great. M.D.when the Roman empire was divided into two in 301, Filyos, which came under the rule of the Seljuks and Genoese, was connected to the Ottoman Empire by Fatih Sultan Mehmet in 1459 -1460. Many of the historical monuments belong to the Roman, Byzantine and Genoese. There is a large cave in our resort,a castle extending to the sea, an open-air theater, an ancient harbor, a water cistern, an outdoor and indoor church, etc. historical artifacts are available.
