Mogren Fortress, Budva. The Montenegrin resort of Budva is one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic coast, which has found almost all the great empires of Europe. In 1860, when Budva was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, a fortress was built on one of its capes, now known as Mogren. At that time, it served to protect the western approaches to the city, and during the Second World War it was used as a warehouse. Today, Mogren Fortress is a ruin, but the reason for this is not enemy artillery, but numerous earthquakes.

For those who want to meet the sunset, it is advisable to arrive in 45-60 minutes, because the sun is setting behind the mountain, which is even higher than this location. We arrived in 30 minutes. We only saw the sun for 5 minutes before sunset)
