Previously, there was a fountain in the form of a large bowl on this site, but it gradually collapsed and was replaced by a new one, which still works today. I hope it will last longer than before!

The fountain located in the park can be called "Rumyantsevsky". There is a monument to N.P. Rumyantsev, who was already the whole Chancellor of the Empire under Alexander I. Almost 200 years ago, about two hundred meters from here, he was buried, and the fountain, despite the simplicity of the design, or maybe because of it, works flawlessly. 9 nozzles emit jets vertically to a height of up to 4 meters. Periodically, accordion dance parties for citizens aged 60+ take place in the park. The elderly will come to the fountain to their heart's content!
