We took out a mortgage with my husband at Freedom Finance. This is our first apartment and mortgage, we thought that a run with bank documents would begin now, we postponed it because of this. To be honest, we were afraid that it would be very unnecessary) it turned out that everything was wrong, it seemed to us that we were lucky and we immediately came to Freedom and were told that we could do everything remotely! That was settled, everything was sent, we received approval in a couple of hours! Not even days! To say that we are shocked is an understatement! The bet is great, everything is fast. It was approved in a day, which is a plus, but when I started to figure out the terms, it turned out that there is a commission for early repayment. It's in the fine print in the contract, I almost missed it. So I advise you to read all the documents carefully. The application sometimes freezes: for example, a payment has been completed, but it appears in the history only after an hour. The manager was polite, but he answered questions about insurance with templates — it was felt that he was in a hurry to close the application. I also noticed that SMS notifications arrive late.

It was very easy to open a deposit: in just five minutes in the app, without having to visit the office. The interest is calculated on time, which is nice. However, mobile banking sometimes fails, especially when switching between sections — you have to restart it. The phone support service is a separate story: I had to wait 15 minutes for an answer before I was connected to the operator. Everything is not perfect in the branches either: the parking lot is always busy, I had to go around several blocks. But I like that you can partially withdraw funds without losing interest — it's convenient for unexpected expenses.

I closed the loan at Freedom and I want to point out that I talked to the manager a couple of years ago when I was applying for it. The bank is clearly moving forward: loan processing has become much faster, many processes have been transferred to an online format - this is great! Everything used to take much longer. It was very convenient and inexpensive to create a card of this bank remotely, with the receipt of a Kazakh IIN a couple of years ago (unfortunately, the practice of remote IIN establishment has already been curtailed). Transfers from the Russian Federation work well through an affiliated Russian Digital bank. Among the disadvantages, I would like to note the sluggish client service (but they still respond via WhatsApp, albeit slowly). After the expiration date of the old passport, an inscription appeared in the application: "Data is outdated." The passport data update can only be performed in person by appearing at the MFC in Kazakhstan. However, before the card expires, it can also be used with outdated data.

Although the terminal is not the most convenient, you can get used to it. It is convenient to transfer money between accounts, and the commission is at an average level. I haven't logged into the app since April, there were 2 thousand dollars in the account. I had to pay for something. I found zeros on all accounts. I contacted the bank and they say the card is closed. The answer to any question is the same: "We apologize for the inconvenience. Our specialists are working on your application. We ask you to expect feedback." It's been like this for a week. When asked if it is possible to personally come to the bank to withdraw money, the answer is: "Thank you for waiting! At the moment, the card is closed, transactions from the card are not available, please wait for a response to your request." I think I will not wait for an answer.

A little earlier, I left a review about this bank when they asked for a commission of 94 euros for a transfer of 74 euros. But then there were additions that it is important to tell about. After I did make this transfer, even agreeing to pay them this commission, they called me and asked me to confirm the source of the 74 euros. They demanded to provide: an agreement with the employer, an act of receiving money, an extract on the receipt of money to the account, a receipt for transferring this money to this freedom finance, a certificate of self-employment, a receipt for paying tax on this money. Further, they reported that the documents had been accepted and sent to the parent bank for consideration. According to the money laundering protocol, they must carry out the entire check. A couple of hours later, I received a reply that the head bank refused to transfer this amount to me. Apparently, they thought that I had laundered these gigantic money. Just in case, I will write that we are talking about 74 euros. Not thousands, but just euros. That is, literally 7.5 thousand rubles. Freedom Finance, you are outstanding morons.

Disgusting bank and remote customer service. I issued the card after changing my full name and clarified 3 times in the chat what needed to be done to get the working card and it was linked to the current account, which I received in the end, only the phrase issue, asked again, said nothing, then clarified again with the courier, nothing. As a result, I transferred the money to the card, they didn't link the account, they accused me that I hadn't done anything and had to come to Astana in person, while explaining that I asked about changing my full name and you didn't answer me. They have one answer, go to the bank branch and it doesn't matter at all that you are from another country and issued the card remotely, they answer with one answer and do not solve anything, the attitude is disgusting, the money is not returned from the card, they say we will not activate the card until you arrive at the bank, well, your money will burn so it will burn. If it were possible to put 0 for service, service and attitude to the customer, I would do it.

I do not recommend it. My card was blocked almost 3 weeks ago. During this time, I called support 4 times: they don't know the reasons for the lock, when it will be unlocked too, they just throw up their hands. Considering that they do not have swift transfers in dollars at all, and the conditions for transfers in euros are such that in fact they do not exist either, it is better to find another bank.

It's safer to keep money under your pillow than in this bank. 1. The information on refunds is not at all obvious. Stores and services have refunded money to me several times, but it is displayed on my account every other time. 2. They do not accept an application for challenging transactions. That is, they say they have accepted it, but if you clarify the status after a while, they ask you to send a new one with a new date. After several such iterations, they simply sent a reply stating that, according to the agreement, "I did not provide a complete list of documents" (which was never announced to me) and therefore the solution to the situation was "to close the disputed situation without further investigation, and the Cardholder undertakes not to dispute it in the future." Isn't it convenient? I have a decent amount in my account, as soon as I can transfer it to an account in another bank, I will close the card, I really regret that I chose Freedom Finance one day.

The girls at the entrance, and the guard (where to go without him!), will always tell you something. If there is a difficult issue (as I had) that cannot be resolved from the app or by phone, they can send it to another department. It is not entirely clear why employees cannot resolve issues from their workplace, but write to some kind of SOS chat, send them to other departments, and so on. In general, I would like employees to have more rights and that the department could resolve issues on the spot. A man came, here's a passport, so he can do everything on the spot in 1 time. This is how banks operate all over the world.

The card is issued very quickly at the branch using a QR code from a smartphone, the TP works perfectly (the card was not linked to samsung pay, it was decided in 5 minutes). The card was delivered to the hotel where I ordered it while I was driving by taxi, I didn't even have time to go to the room, they handed it to me under a painting. I see a lot of negative reviews, but my impression is that the bank is super - very modern. Only the rating from S&P is confusing, but it seems that the bank has changed its outlook from negative, this is a plus. I issued the card on December 19, 22. Registration of a multi-currency card of 15 thousand tenge for non-residents. You can transfer funds to the card in rubles / tenge / dollars / euros, they will come to one of the 4 accounts that are opened with the card (this is a huge plus if your bank can send rubles to Kazakhstan without commission).

Terrible bank, service 0 in order to shorten the loan term in the 21st century, it is necessary to come to their branch to stand in line on the second floor, which does not move at all (2 times I came both times I did not get there, write a statement manually, queue at the cash desk to pay the fee for the bank's service in the amount of 10,000 tenge. It is not clear for what? no bank asks for a reward for these services! And they put an adult man in the window who works very slowly, probably specifically so that fewer people use this service!!!

Of the advantages, only multicurrency cards. One of the disadvantages is the inability to send payments remotely- formally, the payment goes away, but a day later a refusal appears in the application without explanation. Sending payments via the app only in the morning, payments in euros are not possible in principle. When sending through the department, stock up on 1.5-2 hours of time and a lot of patience so as not to break into the outright stupidity of employees. Support is only via chat. Draconian tariff changes. Nothing good.

However, in the end, I did not open the card, since I already had a Kyrgyz bank card, and there was no need to pay extra for a similar card from a Kazakh bank (18,000 rubles for a nominal card is expensive, 5,000 for an unnamed one). I opened a registered Visa Gold in Kyrgyzstan per day for 2000 rubles. But if someone needs it, then why not.
