If you don't have the strength to climb the stairs, the funicular is just right. The car is new, it goes quietly. There's a queue, but it's moving fast. It costs one manat. Good.

The cost of a funicular ride is 1 manat, and the journey time takes about three minutes. Despite the queue, we managed to get on the next flight. I recommend not sitting in the carriage, but standing on the platform at the very bottom of it to enjoy the best view. Interestingly, the slope of the descent is variable (although more often it is made permanent for a funicular). Because of this, the shape of the carriage does not fully compensate for the slope on the entire section of the track. A pleasant park and observation decks await you upstairs, offering stunning views of the Flame Towers and Baku.

A queue of people often gathers at the bottom of the rise, but it moves quickly. For those who want to go down or climb on foot, there is an alternative - going down the stairs.
