Unfortunately, there are very few establishments in Brest where good cuisine is combined with high-quality service and a pleasant atmosphere. But the Gastrobar pleasantly surprised us. We visited it on our last evening in Brest, when we no longer hoped to find a decent place and just went to the restaurant at the hotel, not having much hope. But everything was just wonderful, the beautiful waitress girls Valeria and Anastasia were as attentive as possible. Excellent cuisine, high-quality cocktails. It was a wonderful evening. This gas station is a great addition to the Status hotel, which also left the most pleasant memories.

The status of the hotel remained, there is this institution in it, which we decided to go to after reading the rave reviews. The interior is pleasant, the staff are friendly, but the food is disappointing. I ordered borscht and a little moonshine to go with it) borscht is disgusting, I have never eaten such tasteless borscht anywhere. Not a single piece of meat, just beetroot, which overpowers the whole taste. The meat is served separately, two slices similar to roast beef. My son ordered cocoa with whipped plums, but there was no cream. The vessel with the half-finished moonshine was taken away without asking. They didn't pour or pour, and they didn't ask for a review of the dishes. Bottom line: the place is pleasant to the eye, but there is a lot to work on, especially on borscht and service.

The staff is friendly, the waiter's burr is like a highlight, the menu is not rich, but this is a plus. They cook pretty quickly, only the "Krabsburger" failed, the concept is clear, but due to the fact that the crab is ice cream, they probably rushed to cook and it turned out to be quite cold and wet, which spoiled the impression of the establishment.
