Today, the whole family visited Geghard Monastery, and it was unforgettable! The monastery is active, and we were able to light a candle and buy souvenirs. It is incredibly beautiful and majestic, impressive for its architecture and history. I was particularly impressed by the rock-cut churches right in the stone. This is a miracle of engineering and the art of ancient masters. There is a special atmosphere of peace and spirituality inside the churches. The monastery is surrounded by picturesque views, and a walk through the territory left a lot of positive emotions. This place is worth a visit to anyone who appreciates history, culture and spirituality. I recommend it! You can take photos and videos.

A gorgeous and soulful place. Geghard Monastery is located on steep cliffs near the mountain river Azat. There are a lot of stone carvings that fascinate the spirit. The long history of the monastery makes it necessary to treat this place not only as a spiritual place, but also with military respect.
