They were taken at the Tbilisi office, returned at the Batumi office. In Batumi, it turned out to be great in terms of logistics - we booked a hotel on the 19th floor on the Batumi embankment (there is a number 19 in the name of the hotel), so the GEODRIVE office turned out to be 1.5 km from the hotel. And in the morning we took a taxi to the airport, which is also nearby, just 4 km from the hotel. So if you rent in Batumi, then the office is located in the right place there) The office in Tbilisi is a bit far from the center. I think the guys will adjust this moment. Otherwise, everything is perfect! I found a contact on the website, wrote to WhatsApp, received a prompt response and several car options for my budget. We agreed a day later and they sent me a contract. It didn't take long to get the car. The impression of communicating with intelligent guys was wonderful! Well done, guys! The only thing is, I didn't really check the external condition of the car and didn't even take a video with its description, despite the slight scuffs and scratches on the car - I trusted God and hoped for the decency of the guys. The only thing I want to draw attention to is that when renting a vehicle, no PTS is issued, however, in the event of an accident, police officers asked us for documents and said that a fine is issued without documents. As a result, we were not issued a fine, we also discussed this issue with the guys from the company, they said that they had never issued a fine during their entire work, and they did not issue documents for a number of understandable reasons (hijacking or evacuation, for example). We have no complaints in this part, but it's just worth keeping in mind when renting. In the future, when visiting Georgia, we will definitely still use the company's services and recommend them to our friends.

I always try to support local businesses, so I chose Geodrive in Tbilisi. Unfortunately, this was the case when my intuition failed me completely. I have more than 30,000 km behind me in rented cars all over the world, and this experience turned out to be the most disappointing. At first, communication seemed normal. But the alarm bells started ringing quickly.: Meeting at the airport – we waited 20 minutes without an answer, not knowing if it was a hoax or if the car would arrive after all. Payment – credit cards are not accepted, only cash or crypto, which means you are deprived of standard rental guarantees. I realized too late what this would lead to. The car was brought by a friendly employee, but with a mileage of 190,000+ km, worn steering wheel and seats, as well as constant tire pressure problems (insurance does not cover this). The most shocking thing is their insurance rule: even if you have “full” insurance, you are required to inspect the car after every (!) stop – even at a traffic light. If you find a scratch ≥ 1 mm, you should immediately call the police and file a report, otherwise you will be billed. I've rented a car in dozens of countries and have never seen anything so absurd. When returning the car in the same condition as we received it, we expected to refund the deposit without any problems. Instead, we were ignored for 5 days, and then suddenly accused (in an almost threatening manner) of a 5-centimeter “scratch" that we definitely did not inflict. As a result, they “generously” promised to refund the money, but withheld 10% without explanation. The car itself didn't ruin the vacation, but the service, rules, and dishonesty left an unpleasant aftertaste. If you value your money and nerves, choose proven rental networks. Don't repeat our mistake with Geodrive.
