My family and I visited Giresun Fortress when we traveled along the Black Sea coast of Turkey. The fortress is located on a high hill, which can be reached by car. When we were driving up to the fortress, it was not ordinary, but the most fun thing was to go down, the experience is not for the faint of heart!!! The hill where the fortress is located offers a picturesque view of the city and the Sea. There is little left on the territory of the fortress, the tower and part of the wall, but in any case it is interesting to visit and walk around the beautiful places. There is a cafe on the territory of the fortress where you can have a snack and drink Turkish coffee. I definitely advise you to visit Giresun Fortress!!!

It is a wonderful place with a perfect view that has preserved its historical texture but with mistakes. There are promenade areas, cafes and restaurants inside. There are scenic hills where you can look at the city of Giresun from all angles. Enter the hero of the Liberation War , Mustafa Kemal was the commander of Atatürk's guard protection regiment and saved Atatürk from many assassinations.
