The entrance to the Brest Fortress is both symbolic and monumental. The star-shaped gate and the sculpture beyond are incredibly powerful. Great for photos and even more for reflection.

You can take a guided tour of the fortress or walk through it yourself. Inside the fortress there is a museum dedicated to defense. There are monuments and techniques of a bygone era on the territory, there is a significant temple and a Sunday school. There is an art museum. There is also a Citadel restaurant on the territory of the memorial, which looks average to me, the draniki are greasy, and the soup is a little bland.
