The petroglyphs are here. The flight of these people's thoughts through rock art is interesting. There were a lot of tourists on this clear October weekday, probably not crowded at all on weekends. The trail is comfortable for moving along the rocks with images. There are a lot of interesting plants around and it was lucky to see a fox cub who comes to the beginning of the trail to beg for food and play with the cat.

An interesting place. A great interactive museum, interesting techniques for children. The mountains of Gobustan themselves are low, but colorful, there are a lot of petroglyphs (rock paintings), dating from ll-lV thousand BC. It is better to go in comfortable shoes, have a headgear and sun goggles, it is very hot during the day, it is better to take water with you. The road to Gobustan is like in American films about cowboys: deserted and lifeless.
