We didn't hit it! Where the road led, along which they stomped for an hour, led to a paid entrance for 150 liras, where there was a construction site. The main exhibits were in construction banners. We decided that it was not worth it for so much. Moreover, the road is more than colorful.

Golden Gate before 1453. Three gates made of oak. They are lined with copper sheets covered with gilding. Scenes from the Gospel are selected on copper plates by the method of coinage. There are arches with bars above the gate. On top of the gate there is a compositional statue: A Quadriga with a chariot. The Byzantine emperor is in the chariot. The chariot is pulled by four elephants. The statue is made of copper. It is covered with gold by the method of fire gilding. There are two watchtowers on the sides of the gate.

An important historical part of the city. Unfortunately, the authorities sealed the gate with concrete, and the Yedikule Museum is closed. But outwardly the gate looks very cool, the fortress wall (Edikule Museum)massive and in perfect condition, great appearance.
ps. next to the police station with a huge number of cats, and just south of the dog kennel.
