I definitely recommend it! The girls at the reception are smart and beautiful, smiling, friendly, always ready to help, the room is clean, all toiletries are available, the breakfasts are good, for every taste, if something was running out, they immediately brought it, they quickly responded to any request. We chose this hotel by chance and did not lose out: an excellent hotel in a conveniently located location near the bus stop in the city center. The room has everything for a comfortable stay: refrigerator, TV, hairdryer in the bathroom, daily room cleaning. The breakfasts are for every taste, everything is very decent. There is nothing left of the words Golden Palace here. It is located in some kind of homeless shelter, surrounded by old houses and stalls. Everything is very sad inside, the drain does not work in the room periodically, there is dirt in the bathtub that is clogged and the water does not go away. But the worst part is the breakfasts. Apart from the fact that they are as mediocre as possible, there is little food and it is not very tasty. Some men in jackets come to breakfast and put their dirty hands and sleeves into the food that you then eat. The woman who is apparently in charge of the food, not only completely ignored 2 questions about what was going on, but also complained that we had ruined her mood? What's that supposed to mean? The staff disappointed me the most.
We do not recommend coming here, because for that kind of money you can live in a really decent hotel.

When asked where to sit, they say sit down with someone, what are you waiting for! Fined 5000 tenge for the loss of the card from the room, I requested an official receipt of the fine and where this amount is prescribed, I am still waiting for an answer, if anything, I will add a review

A good hotel, with its 3 stars. In general, everything is fine, the room is clean, cleaned every day. The room also has a standard set: shampoo, shower gel, soap, tooth.a brush and paste, slippers and even a rag for shoes.
Breakfast is included in the price, and by the way, it is also generally good.
The only negative (for me) is poor noise insulation. On the first day, the neighbors were active, and they could be heard, but then, apparently, the neighbors changed, it was quiet.
In general, a good, clean hotel, the staff is friendly and responsive (they respond promptly to all requests).

To be honest, the hotel needs to be rated four out of five. There are a number of disadvantages that they need to work on. The hotel is about 12 or 13 years old, there was one renovation. Among the disadvantages are: slightly tired rooms, weak water pressure in the showers, a very meager breakfast buffet. Of the advantages: a good location, according to the hoteliers themselves, mostly business travelers and people who came on business stay, so there are few drunks in the hotel, few visitors who make noise. The hotel itself is more of this family type. There are pleasant little things in the form of individual sets of shampoos, dental kits, slippers. The bed linen and towels are not super new, but clean. Cleaning every day. The staff is a separate plus, well done. If you need a luxury hotel, this is not the place, but according to the price-quality system everything is fine.

The golden Palace hotel looks good. It is located in a convenient location in the city. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The hotel staff is very polite. Thanks to them.
You can choose different dishes for breakfast. But you won't find meat in the breakfast. The dishes are prepared from sausages and meat. As soon as the time is 09.00, then immediately within 5 minutes all the food is removed from the table and the lights are immediately turned off. As if the time has run out and they are asking you to leave the hall in silence. I think it's a little disrespectful. Tourists come to rest in Kazakhstan and want to keep the best and hidden things in themselves.
I couldn't find the answer but one situation. Two uniformed policemen come in every morning. They have a hearty breakfast. The hotel administration lets them through without question. I think this is a daily tribute allowed by the police.

A three-star hotel. The breakfasts are tasteless, there is no normal coffee. For more or less decent coffee, we ran across the street to a fast food restaurant before breakfast and took it to take away. The service at the hotel is very unobtrusive.
I asked for white thread with a needle at the reception desk (there is no such mini-set in the room), thereby creating an unsolvable problem for them. But after half an hour, the threads were found. It was the same with the flower vase. Why are there no vases on duty at the hotel?!
There was a burnt cloth on the iron in the ironing room. The receptionist didn't really want to call the maid, instead he strongly suggested that I order a paid ironing service.
In general, there is something for the hotel management to work on: it is necessary to train the staff in hospitality, and think over the menu in the cafe, and much more.

Probably, this is 4 stars for Almaty, but in a good way it barely pulls even 2... It seems like the room is not bad, but not too clean, somehow everything is substandard. There are no words about the toilet at all... Exit from the crumbling, leaking shower stall directly onto the toilet. All finishing materials are not commercial, but home-made, and not of the highest quality... One thing will fall off, then the other. Shower supplies, toothbrushes and toothpaste are the cheapest, Chinese. Breakfast didn't work either. Even though we were there for 8 days, we never ate. Again, it does not look like a normal buffet, although it is clear that they tried. The location is normal. In principle, it is close to all areas, but the environment is so-so. The service is polite, they try to help, everything is clear.
But the phone in the room is unclear why it does not work. I couldn't make a phone call in the city or at the reception.

The choice fell on this hotel because it was a convenient location, there were empty seats and it seemed like a normal hotel. The price is clearly too high for such quality. Dirty linen (with hair on the sheet and towels), a torn bedspread, a dirty refrigerator with chocolates forgotten by previous residents, weak Wi-Fi, there is not even a sign asking not to enter, we were told that there are no free signs)) funny. I do not know how thoroughly the san.node is processed, but a shower with rust and broken tiles does not look very presentable.
Nothing is reported for breakfast if the food is over.
A room in this hotel is clearly not worth the money. I do not recommend it

Real 4 stars! I was prepared for the worst, but... the hotel turned out to be super!
There were 2 rooms to choose from. Before checking in, you can go and choose the one you like best - 🔥. The room is perfectly clean.
Usually in hotels the bathroom starts to scare, but here, surprisingly, it is also perfectly clean.
Dental kits and shower gel were changed daily, and towels were also changed daily. By default, there are 2 sets of towels, shower gels, soap and even disposable slippers in the room!
There is a minibar in the room. Water is free, the rest is according to the price list, the price list is on the table.
The breakfasts are excellent. Buffet, there is salad, stewed vegetables (eggplant, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes), sausage and cheese cuts, several types of buns, pancakes with cottage cheese, just pancakes (you can take with jam), scrambled eggs, porridge, and watermelon (there was every day). Liquids include tea, coffee and compote. Everything is really delicious.
There were no questions about payment. As soon as I arrived, I had no money (I haven't exchanged it yet), I paid the next day.
