I hope in time the entire castle will be restored.

I am very glad that such places do not turn into another abandoned place, but are being restored and looked after. There were several tour buses with us, but we were told that there was an excursion in the basement right now and advised to start from the ground floor. So we warmed up with the tour and were able to take pictures of the castle itself. It's comfortable to walk, there's a lot to see, and it's a great place.

To be honest, I would not say that it is directly ruins, since one tower has been restored and a mini-museum with 3 floors and beautiful views has been created inside it. The saddest thing in the history of this castle is that it survived all the wars, starting with the northern war with the Swedes under Peter the Great, ending with the Great Patriotic War and even survived, but it was stupidly dismantled for building materials in the Soviet years to create not historical structures, but clubs and other insignificant castle scale. I advise you to visit an atmospheric place where you can take a lot of great photos in good weather!
