I don't even know where to start...
this is my worst life experience. The university is problematic, but the teachers of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy put the main footsteps for students, which I will tell you about in my review as honestly as possible and without embellishment. People who are supposed to provide knowledge treat students as if they feel superior to them, arrogantly, regardless of their opinion. Instead of an experienced mentor, we see them as self-confident tyrants. The program is outdated, modern innovations are not observed and are not planned, apparently. Teachers do not try to interest them in their subject, it is easier for them to memorize all the material verbatim, which I consider unacceptable, since a specialist must not only memorize the text, but also understand the topic. There are certainly teachers who have left fond memories of their studies, they were patient with us and focused on working with young people. But I can also identify mistakes in their work that are mainly related to the objectives and goals of the university. They have to tell the material like robots, but trying to really teach us burns out. And for this they are punished by the dean's office or individual departments. In general, learning happens like this: you come to pairs, get assignments, sit out monotonous lectures with reading material and go to the dormitory / home, memorize the material they gave you to get a good grade. They are not interested in understanding the material, the ability to put it into practice and operate with it in their work. Have you learned? Did you tell me the text from the paper/summary verbatim? Did you get a grade? Free to go! The most interesting of the practical tasks were trainings, which the students themselves no longer conduct properly, videos or presentations, as well as presentations with essays. There are also those who suffer from misogyny. Most of the teachers are women. It is difficult to say what causes this, because each of us treats our mentors with respect. But, apparently, this is not enough to gain mutual sympathy. Having studied at this university, I can say that I did not receive any valuable knowledge in my specialty. I, like many others, tried to make the most of the university. But unfortunately, I gave up. By the end of the 4th year, all I can do to avoid losing my scholarship is to memorize the topic in front of the teacher, send him my essays and buy a term paper. I'm learning everything by myself, taking job preparation courses, reading literature on my specialty, and waiting for the opportunity to get the ill-fated diploma and go home.
If you want to succeed in studying at the F. Skorina Moscow State University, you need to unconditionally comply with the teacher's requirements (no matter how illogical they may be), and it is advisable not to show your "I". Learn by yourself, develop by yourself, and best of all, enroll in another university before it's too late.

Since there are no recent reviews, I will write my own. To warn the incoming guys, because a year ago I read these reviews myself.
I'll start with the location of the buildings - it's absolutely inconvenient, I studied for a year at GSU, and we were constantly paired in different buildings, had to run. And this takes up time that can be spent on banal eating / going to the toilet. The attitude of certain teachers towards students is terrible! They don't put it in anything! They can knock you down, raise your voice and insult you in exams, I think this is unacceptable, especially at the Faculty of Psychology.
A separate issue with the hostel provided by GSU = get ready for cockroaches and bedbugs (numerous), they are being poisoned, but not enough. The administration ignores outright unsanitary conditions. And from there, cockroaches with bedbugs. But they will make you do repairs! They hadn't done repairs for 4 years before us, but during the time I lived, there was a rule that repairs should be done every year :) and not only by 3-4-year students, but also by 1-year students.
What else can I add, it was very problematic to pick up the documents, 1000 workarounds are being invented, which are simply physically unrealistic to sign in a short time, with people who do not want to sign them. Everything is done carelessly.
I can thank the university for the not very positive experience :)

I can say about the building that the layout is convenient, it's impossible to get lost. Everything is very simple and conveniently located, one "BUT" the elevator does not work and people go up to the 6th floor on foot. And I'm talking about the elderly and the disabled now. The building is currently undergoing repairs. Because the windows are old in most classrooms and it is very cold in winter, and in summer they do not open the windows because it blows very much. With all the shortcomings of the building, education is at the highest level. I can only talk about my specialty (Computer Physics). There is an opportunity to go for an internship, get experience in other countries (Germany, Poland, Russia, Japan - what I remember from the whole list). The main thing is to know the language. Teachers are responsive, highly qualified, always explain and support (phys. the best). Of course, I can't list everything. I am always ready to answer questions😊
