Good day! We came to rest in Gomel. We were invited to visit the Youth Theater. They chose a production called "Overkill". To say that we were delighted is not to say anything. We were very pleased with the LLC. Friendly staff meeting before the performance. A cozy warm room. Very comfortable location of the stage and the audience seats, from any row and place everything is clearly visible. Amazing acting. Very talented people. An interesting performance that held the attention until the last moment .If you still have the opportunity to come to this beautiful city, then we will be very happy to visit this theater!!!

About the theater: it is small, the hall is small and this has achieved convenience and a good view from any place in the hall, the higher rows are raised enough for the convenience of those sitting behind. But the main disappointment was from the performance itself: the English black comedy "Little Brothers"! The whole plot is based on classic confusion, a combination of circumstances and impulsive decisions of the characters. It would seem that this is one of the genres of comedy. The actors did well, they did their best. But the production is terrible! For some reason, the director decided that the audience would like the constant grimaces, antics, screams, tantrums and the actors' play in the form of loudly thrown interjections. What kind of audience is the performance designed for? Yes, I came from Moscow, but I am not so sophisticated with professional troupes, and in numerous regional cities theaters work surprisingly well and collect well-deserved full houses. And here? - Of course, only a dozen female spectators could be heard laughing and guffawing in the hall, they probably get excited at men's stand-ups from a loud swear word. But, yes, it's a matter of taste. But the performance should still be designed for any audience. Russian Russian was the subject of the plot in the UK, the performance, of course, in Russian and the characters did not interfere with speaking from the stage in Russian "Do you speak English?". The premiere of the play was in 2018, I do not know in which version it has been played since then, but suddenly yesterday the phrase about the problems of Europe sounded from the stage: "they have enough worries, they have a lot of orphans from the DPR there." The director and the actor talking like that from the stage-have you completely lost your conscience? The finale for me personally was the phrase said in the silence of the hall on stage by the main character: "This is an ass!" I mentally agreed with this assessment of the level of this performance, voiced by the actor himself, and left the hall even before the intermission. I sincerely feel sorry for the audience from Gomel..

The theater is wonderful, small and cozy. A good cast. The cost of tickets is very affordable, but it is better to stock up on tickets in advance. It can be seen from all the seats in the hall, the seating arrangement is magnificent. The theater is in the very center near the park. From Lenin Square, past the Drama Theater, past the main post office, turn onto Lenin Ave., cross to the other side and move for five minutes against the traffic of cars. Go through the butcher shop, the cafe, and the big brown doors that will be the entrance to the theater. Tickets are sold on the second floor. You walk past the concierge, the room is located on the left. Tickets can be purchased there.

I was the only one crying in the hall from the perverted game and the realistically devoted plot.It was canceled last year due to the pandemic and now the postponement of the necessary performance. Without any problems, they politely offered to change tickets and any number and a performance to choose from.Just well done. I talked to the girls on the phone, the ticket office was already closed. The performance started at 19.00. We were late on our way from Minsk. We went to meet them, got into position. Thank you very much!!!

I visited for the first time. I definitely recommend you to visit. The hall is not large, which gives comfort and the opportunity to observe the actors' faces, feel their emotions and moods. In general, some kind of homely atmosphere, quiet, cozy, friendly staff. I can't judge the performance of the entire cast, but the performance of "Confusion" pleased me. A wonderful performance by actors Irina Shapetko and Pavel Konka. Thank you so much for the emotions you gave me. Good luck and new premieres to you. I have no doubt that this place will become one of our family's favorite places in the city.
