It's a very picturesque place! You can come here on your own. Do not forget your passport or its photo, scan, copy, because they let you in upon registration for free (September 2025) It is especially beautiful at sunset. Gorgeous views. There are viewing platforms. You can go upstairs by electric car (for a fee) or on foot. It wasn't a difficult climb for us. There are cafes and souvenir shops along the way.

A great park in the heart of Sanya city, it is important that it is free). You can climb up the convenient path, which offers magnificent views of the city. There are gazebos and benches along its entire length. It's clean and pleasant. The whole trip will take 20-30 minutes. If you don't want to walk, you can drive up by car for 30 yuan. The statue itself is waiting for you at the top. We were glad to visit this park, we advise you to include it in your traveler's list)) there are many cafes upstairs, which is also convenient.

I consider one of the best (independent) excursions to be an excursion to the Deer who turned his head mountain. From this point there is a stunning view of the city and the sea. There are many establishments on the territory, ranging from souvenir shops to ice cream and coconut sales. Lots of locations for great photos. The view along the entire road is fascinating and you want to be photographed at every meter. But the best time to arrive here is at sunset. The Chinese love to watch the sunset from here, so by sunset there is a huge crowd of them here. I recommend not to miss this place and plan a trip here. It will be interesting for everyone!

A beautiful place where you can take a quiet walk and sit in a restaurant/cafe with a wonderful view of the whole city. Take a mosquito spray in the evening, even in the shade during the day, and sunscreen and a hat during the day. It's better to pay extra and take a mini bus to the top, otherwise, an easy walk can turn into something else))) The legend of the place is beautiful! We believe in love at first sight ! :)

A monumental statue! A popular place for tourists. Beautiful locations open in all directions, there is live sound, there is a cafe, there are souvenirs. Approximately 7 kilometers from the foot there is an asphalt road with a dedicated footpath, you can walk, you can take a regular bus.

A place that is definitely worth a visit! To apply for a ticket, be sure to bring your passport or its photo with you. The entrance to the territory is free, but walking uphill is quite tiring, so we decided to buy a buggy ticket for 28 yuan. There are stunning views of the city from the top. We recommend arriving by 18:00 to meet the sunset and enjoy the city in the evening. The territory is well maintained, there are many cafes and souvenir shops.

I visited this place in July 2025. The park itself is free, tickets can be issued by photocopy or passport photo. From the center, landmark shopping center Pineapple 2nd 1 ticket 55th bus or 428 minibus for free. There are 5 stops to go. We arrived at the park at 17 o'clock, managed to take beautiful pictures in the light, and by 19 o'clock we took our places on the observation deck (sunset). Sunset itself at 19.20, of course, you don't have to wait for sunset on the site, but at the time of the beautiful shots, you can only get into the front rows by elbowing people aside. The photos are beautiful, the sun is setting before our eyes. After sunset, you can walk around the park with illumination again. During daylight hours, beautiful pictures with daytime landscapes in the distance. The evening pictures are beautiful with illumination, but there is not that beautiful large-scale picture in the light. In my opinion, it is better to catch a light and dark period. You can walk up and down to the observation decks, but in the heat it's not easy, I paid 28 per person for a minibus. I recommend visiting the park.

The Deer Turned Its Head Park or Luhuitou Park is one of the most popular parks in Sanya, Hainan Island. The park is located on a mountain between Dadonghai, Sanya and Xiaodon Bay. The park can be reached by bus 125 to the LuHui Tou JingQu stop. Admission to the park is free, but with passports (although we didn't even look at them). The ticket office sells tickets for mini cars with funny faces that take tourists upstairs and then take them back. The round-trip fare is 28 yuan per person. I recommend taking them especially in hot weather. You can walk, but the mountain is high, the path is almost 5 km. There are very beautiful bird's-eye views of Sanya City, Phoenix Island, Dadonghai Bay and other places of interest on the mountain. There are a lot of cafes with beautiful views in the park, a lot of areas for photographing. There is a monument to a deer and a young girl and a guy on the mountain itself. The monument symbolizes the legend of the Li peoples: "A rich landowner forced a young hunter to shoot a deer. A young hunter was chasing a deer through the mountains and could not shoot it in any way. When the deer turned and looked into his eyes, the deer turned into a beautiful girl. They fell in love at first sight." We really liked the park, we recommend visiting it.

It's a great place, but don't expect much from it, the territory isn't big. The panorama of Sanya city opens, Phoenix Island is visible, in the evening it is very beautiful when all the lights turn on. The legend of the deer that turned its head tells how a hunter named Ah Hey chased a beautiful deer, where it turned around and turned into a beautiful fairy girl. The girl fell in love with the hunter, and their love story became the basis of the name of this place.

When we were going to China, experienced people immediately told us that it was better to watch parks in the evening and you could do it yourself. We take good advice into account. We took a taxi to the Deer Turned its Head Park, as there were only two hours left before closing, we did not walk, but bought a transfer ticket. In a few minutes we reached the observation deck, which offers a stunning view of the evening city. Then we walked through the park, surrounded by greenery, many paths and ladders lead to art objects and playgrounds, gorgeous lighting and musical accompaniment create a mood. At the very top there is a sculpture group "The Deer turned its head". Of course, every name comes with a legend.

It's a beautiful park, but just for once. If it is difficult for you to climb the mountain, then I recommend taking a transfer for 28 yuan per person. Entrance tickets are free upon presentation of a passport (for Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) for other countries we do not know. It is best to go in the evening to have a beautiful view of the surroundings. Lots of locations for photos

Chinese name : Address: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? 150 The park is very large, you can buy a shuttle to climb up and continue walking, ascent / descent 30 yuan per person. The ideal time to visit is 16-17 hours and before sunset, during the day you can take cool photos, and in the evening you can admire the sunset and the lights of Sanya city. You can meet monkeys in the park, as soon as you get off the bus and go up a little, they can meet you, so keep an eye on your bags. There are places for snacks, souvenir shops.

Luhuitou Mountain (275 m) is home to the Deer Turned Its Head Park (Luhuitou Park), a famous landmark in Sanya. At the top of the mountain and the highest point of the park is a monument to the deer that turned its head, as well as two more characters from the famous legend. Entrance to the park is free (passport is required), information on some tourist resources "about the cost of a ticket to the park" does not correspond to reality. Meanwhile, in order to climb the shuttle bus to the top (to the first observation deck), you need a ticket - 28 yuan (round trip). You can, of course, walk for free, but you will need to cover 5.2 km on the way up and down. The park seemed pretty nice, and the views of the surrounding area, including Phoenix Island, are magnificent. The park, of course, has restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and other tourist attractions. We chose Seaview Restaurant Dear Deer for our dinner. The restaurant really has a great Seaview and generally good cuisine. We were satisfied with the walk through the Deer Turned Its Head Park. It's just a pity that we didn't wait for the evening light show. Well, next time…

Cool park! It's beautiful! Be sure to take a ticket that includes a bus.... even we are lovers of walking at first, we thought, but why do we need it??? But since we were with the children, we decided to play it safe. The bus takes you to the first observation deck, takes you uphill for more than a km. Believe me, you are there on foot too. The view from the observation decks is mesmerizing, there are many locations for beautiful photos, cafes where you can eat or just drink tea/coffee while admiring the beautiful view. Climbing higher, you will see a statue with a deer, there is a beautiful legend, which is probably why this park was named that way. We arrived at the park at 4:30 p.m., so we managed to see both a beautiful sunset and a magnificent view of Sanya, Dodonhai, Phoenix Island in daylight, as well as when the night lights came on. So that's why I got 1 star.... after walking around...We went to the playground where the buses pick up the visitors and take them back down. We were just stunned by the queue.... It was so long!!!!! The Chinese are used to such queues... they're standing still), but we're not! And they decided to walk). The children did not immediately see through this setup. The inscriptions on the ground during the descent helped us... first we saw the mark of 1200 meters, then 1000, 800, etc. It made it easier to answer the question: "How much longer?)"

An interesting location near the city center. You buy a ticket. By the way, it is available in 2 formats: with and without transfer enabled. I recommend without. Firstly, it is cheaper. Secondly, although the trail goes uphill, you will get a thrill from walking. Along the way, you will have views of Sanya from different levels. There are many souvenir shops at the top, including handmade ones. And amazing cafes with panoramic views of the city and the sunset. Everything is very refined and beautiful. A stunning observation deck with incredible views. Try to catch the sunset - it's a magical sight!!! Plus, watch as the lights turn on and Sanya turns into a neon miracle.

Hello, lovers of roads and adventures! If you are planning a trip to Sanya, then the Deer Turned Its Head Park should definitely be on your list. This is not just a place for walking — it is a true legend of Hainan Island, where nature, history and incredible views create a unique atmosphere. How to get to the Deer turned its Head Park: from our hotel Pullman Oceanview Sanya Bay Resort & SPA 5* bus 125, travel 3 yuan, for some reason we drove back for 2 rubles, 40 minutes on the way. The cost of entrance tickets and services in the park: Entrance ticket: free of charge with a passport, take it with you (passport is foreign and it is always needed in all parks to receive a ticket). You can only pay for an electric car that will take you up the mountain for 28 yuan per person (it's better to take it, believe me). About the Deer Turned Its Head Park in Sanya, Hainan: The Deer Turned Its Head Park (Luhuitou) is one of the main places that is definitely worth visiting in Sanya. Located at an altitude of 275 meters, it offers stunning views of Dadonghai Bay and modern skyscrapers. This is an ideal place for those who are looking for solitude in the tropical nature or want to take unique photos against the backdrop of seascapes. What to do in the park!!! Walks and photo shoots: There are many viewing platforms in the park where you can enjoy panoramic views. They are especially popular at sunset, when the soft light creates a unique atmosphere. Flora and fauna: Bushes and flowers are blooming all around. All this is accompanied by birdsong and relaxing sounds of nature. Souvenirs and snacks: There are many kiosks in the park where you can buy souvenirs, enjoy ice cream or freshly squeezed juices. For those who want to have a substantial snack, there are cafes and restaurants serving local cuisine, including exotic delicacies. Features: The backlight: When dusk falls, beautiful lighting lights up along the paths, and in the evening the illumination of skyscrapers and a laser show on Phoenix Island turn on. This gives the park a special atmosphere at night. Visiting Advice: The best time to visit the park is in the afternoon, when the heat subsides. This way you can enjoy the views in daylight, and then see the park in the evening illumination. Children are unlikely to be interested, except for ice cream. Although there were a lot of them there, that's my opinion. As a result, I spent 66 yuan for two, instead of the excursion price of 440 for two.

A beautiful, well-maintained, well-maintained park with a large number of photo zones, fast food outlets and beautiful views of Dadonghai Bay! Everything is thought out to the smallest detail for a comfortable stay for visitors! The park is equipped according to the principle of "Feng Shui". Soothing music and the sound of the surf can be heard everywhere. In the center of the park stands her business card — a 12-meter statue of a deer looking back. Especially beautiful photos are taken at sunset (from 19.00). Also from the park you can watch the light show taking place on Phoenix Island and admire the breathtaking views of the city of Sanya and the adjacent sea coves. Entrance to the park is paid (tickets are purchased at the ticket office using a passport). The entrance fee starts from $7. The price varies depending on the season. The ascent and descent by electric car is paid separately – 28 yuan round trip. The park is open from 07.30 to 22.00.

A very beautiful park, lots of photo zones while climbing to the top. It seems to me that walking is more interesting than taking the bus, you can look at Sanya from a height. Admission to the park is free, but you need to show your passport at the ticket office, and you can have a photo of your passport on your phone. We went up to watch the sunset, there were a lot of people, but the Chinese were not tall and did not bother us at all. There are small cafes and souvenir shops, but they are quite modest. The park is elegantly decorated, and after sunset it is beautifully illuminated. I would love to visit this place again)

It's just a park. They take guided tours to it. I don't see the point in it. If you are in Dodonghai, it is easy to arrive by taxi on your own. If not, then it's not worth it, it's better to choose Yanoda. You need your passports or their photos with you. You can walk, the ticket will be cheaper or even free, but I recommend paying and taking the bus because the road goes far up. We were in the evening before sunset, as it was terribly hot during the day. And I think this is the best time. The bus takes you to the observation deck. You can still walk up about 1 km from it. There are small paths to the right and left from the main road. It turns out that you are coming for a walk on the mountain. A concert was taking place next to the main statue, some were singing, some were dancing, and the Chinese were mostly sitting and watching the performances. There were small cafes along the road and at the end of the way. The bus then takes you back from the same place where you arrived.

The park is beautiful and pleasant to walk in, but I expected more. It's not as pompous as the parks on the mountains, for example, so I think it's better for tourists to start exploring the city from this park and then gradually raise the bar. Overall, it's a nice green park, similar to our Russian parks: paths, observation decks, benches, street vendors selling ice cream, drinks, and more. It is suitable for a leisurely promenade. The sculpture with the deer itself reaches the top. The park is small in area, and there are usually few people here. Cars drive around the territory. The park is large, very interestingly made, and in principle, like most parks and green areas in Sanya, it is located on the slopes of hills (or small mountains). Therefore, immediately prepare for quite a lot of physical exertion, it will be difficult for overweight people to walk by themselves. You can climb to the top with a ticket (like a round trip of 28 yuan / person for July 2025), or you can climb yourself along a serpentine, which is quite a long time in terms of heat and 100% humidity, but there are many interesting locations and photo zones, viewing platforms and genre compositions and sculptures. And yes, it is better to visit it after 15:30-16 hours, so at least you will see all the beauty in the light, after 18 it seems to me a little late, it will get dark quickly. Plan to spend 6-8 hours in the park. There are many cafes and souvenir shops on the upper floors. We got to see some Chinese dancers perform. And the history of the appearance of this park is interesting, I recommend looking for it. And of course, the views: both during daylight and especially at night, to the city itself, to the towers of Phoenix Island, to the sea, to the bays. Stunningly.
