As I understood, rotavirus in Gagra is not avoided unfortunately ((( This time I had to go to the hospital with a child (((. I was just surprised! A Soviet - era hospital , but it 's so clean , it 's just disgusting 👍
And the staff is a separate story, they are so kind, they immediately put the child under ivs, they answered all questions with a smile , how much love for patients is just aerobatics 🙏 I am so grateful to you from the bottom of my heart for your help without a single reproach or any dissatisfaction 🫶 I really want our some doctors to get to you and we saw how to treat patients. Thank you to all the staff for your love for patients , for your cordiality and I wish you the greatest patience, health and all the best.

Like many in the reviews, I got here with rotavirus.
Unfortunately, all hand washing activities 100 times a day, antiseptic treatment of appliances, etc. did not help, this is probably a matter of immunity and luck.
The hospital admitted me quickly, there was no queue in the waiting room in the middle of the day.
They put 2 ivs and antipyretic, the doctor and nurses are all friendly nice girls, they try to do everything neatly and painlessly.
After 40 minutes, I was walking calmly and felt great, although the temperature was under 39 before and no polysorbs with rehydrates saved me.
In the morning, there was no temperature, as if nothing had happened.
Thanks to the specialists of this hospital.
PS I don't know about the other floors, but on the 1st floor everything was very civil for a city hospital.

There was a rotovirus virus in the child. Doctors are generally well done, if there is no medical insurance, everything is paid, a drip 2600 + medicines (700-900 RUB). If you apply in time, it will be easier. I recommend treating children on time - they will help! Our evening shift was better (no offense) than the day shift, they were quickly accepted and diagnosed. We visited it twice. It didn't get any easier, we packed up and went to Adler, everything was fully done there, tests were performed, treatment was prescribed - the child felt better!

Why do you, many vacationers, write that rotavirus is inevitable in Abkhazia. It is found all over the Black Sea coast and everyone has their own body and immunity. For four years in a row, we have been vacationing only there and everything is fine with us, the whole family. I brought him to the hospital, and it was quiet, everything was open. I ran around the floors for 20 minutes looking for at least one doctor. I found a children's department on the floor, but my son is 16 years old, so he was sent to the adult department. I knocked on the door 4 times and woke up. The staff is well done, calm, professional. In an hour and a half, they raised their son to his feet. They gave out clean bedding, put it in the ward, examined it, measured the temperature, and installed systems.
The amount for the procedure was 3000 rubles. I think this is normal. Like an appointment at a private clinic. Yes, even if they had said ten thousand, I would still have paid to help. Thanks a lot to the staff.

I was on vacation in Pitsunda, I was admitted to the Gagra hospital with suspected appendicitis. I arrived on my own, and was immediately referred to a surgeon at the reception. The surgeon examined it carefully, and said that most likely it was not appendicitis and sent for an ultrasound and an appointment with several specialists. Ultrasound of several types was done very quickly, professionally, even other patients gave up their place when they heard about appendicitis. The equipment turned out to be modern, the doctors worked clearly, quickly, and attentively. Hospital services are paid, but prices are 2-3 times lower than in Moscow, and the quality is at a good level. As a result, they determined the cause of the pain, prescribed treatment, and repeated admission. It is clear that people are in their place, focused on real patient care. The building externally and internally requires repair, but its condition does not affect the professionalism of the staff!

The hospital helped us! Thanks! They went to the hospital for help on 06/19/24 at night at 2 o'clock (the children did not stop vomiting dade after the injection of cerucal in the room). At the reception department, we were directed to the 6th floor, where we were met by a doctor and a nurse. They offered to make a drip and stay in the morning in a 2-bed ward for the patient, too, it is mandatory. The IV was placed well. In the morning, making sure that the children were better discharged at 8-00. But the temperature wasn't even measured, just by eye. They gave me an appointment. The cost for 1 child is 2400. The department is of course very old, but tolerable, the toilet is sad without a latch, but it works, it's clean enough. The staff is friendly. We did not regret that we applied. Thanks!

Здание советского времени - прекрасное архитектурное строение где чисто, аккуратно, светло. Здесь работают замечательные и отзывчивые люди - профессионалы своего дела! Посещать больницы, находясь на отдыхе, занятие не из любимых. Мы семьей были вынуждены обратиться за помощью к детскому врачу. За 30 минут были готовы результаты анализов, Врач провел тщательное обследование и опроверг все наши опасения! Нет бумажной волокиты, нет электронных и других очередей и здесь каждому обратившемуся окажут помощь. Спасибо!

On the night of 06/20/2024, she was taken by ambulance (arrived quickly) to the hospital's emergency room with symptoms of an oral viral (dysentery) infection. The therapist, yawning (after all, one o'clock in the morning), asked me about everything, meanwhile the girl (probably some kind of assistant), noticing on a flip or by eye (the pressure was measured in the ambulance, it was elevated) that I had all the signs of tachycardia on my face, tried to perform the act of removing a cardiogram, while the beauty clearly did not has the skills to use an electrocardiograph. However, under the strict guidance of a doctor (or maybe not a doctor) of the emergency department, I was able to do it on the second attempt))). After that, it was decided to put me in the infectious department on an IV drip. I assumed that the IV would be paid, as its cost was known, but the fact that the removed cardiogram is far from free, but costs 500 re, was a surprise to me. To my objections and protest about paying for a service that I did not ask for and the cost of which was not initially announced to me, the princess decided to give it to me for free. I delicately refused, explaining my refusal by the fact that I already have cardiograms that were previously taken, and that I am aware that they are all good and still had to notify me that it is paid, after that of course I would politely refuse. For some reason, the girl got angry at me (it's understandable), muttered an insult into my departing trail (yes, yes, I heard that!). They gave me a drip and took 2,000 re from me. In all likelihood, the price included 1,500 IV service
+ 500 re cardiogram (Ehhh....). My ward was clean, although the bed linen smelled like the previous one being dug))), but I already didn't care about the reusable bedding in the infectious. After the IV, and in general (it's night after all), I was terribly sleepy. The nurse was caring, but for some reason she said that in principle I could go home (at about 4:23 in the morning), but I refused. Hooray, they left me, although at 6 o'clock in the morning I still ran away. At my request, the good girl wrote what medications I was treated with, as well as prescribed medications that I had to take on my own, made the payment by transfer to the nurse, they did not give me any checks / receipts for payment.
By the way, this dropper, according to the medical lady, is a common saline solution to replenish the water balance when it is lost during dysbiosis and it does not carry any therapeutic functions. Something like this. Thank you. Svetlana V.

I was both in the children's department with my daughter and with an adult. They were fleeing from rotavirus. The hospital is old, shabby, Soviet. But the doctors are good, qualified, attentive. They provide assistance quickly and well. Polite and pleasant. The nurses are good too. They treat for a fee, but not expensive. But this is a different country, and that's how it should be.

First they gave me an injection, then they told me about the cost of services. There was no consultation as such, the pressure and temperature were measured. The IV and injections are given by the nurse without using gloves. They also take cotton wool with blood with their bare hands, patients are not particularly monitored, the IV was turned off themselves so that the blood did not get there. There was old cotton wool with blood in the ward, syringe caps, a needle on the window frame, there was no question of sterility. Of course, there were no high expectations from this hospital, but at least basic compliance with safety rules, apparently no one has heard about blood-borne diseases here. As a result of treatment, there was no relief of symptoms.

At night, we took a taxi to the emergency department to get rid of poisoning and severe headache. At the hospital, the symptoms were asked, three ivs were put on, recommendations for further recovery were written (what to drink, how much and how to take, diet). The headache went away on the second drip. The staff was kind and called us a taxi back to the hotel. Of course, ivs are not free, because in another country without insurance. But thank you very much for the help and the human attitude. They helped.

Доброе утро. Всем доброго здоровья, хорошего настроения. Недавно вернулись с отдыха в Абхазии. Отдыхаем уже пятый год, это наш любимый курорт.
Случилось так, что у сына заболело ухо. Нашла в интернете, что в Гагре есть поликлиника, и мы помчались туда. Приехали к началу приема (к 9:00), нас приняла прекрасный доктор, Мотова Юлия Викторовна, сделала осмотр, поставила диагноз, промыла нам ушки, Оказалось, острый наружный отит, дала рекомендации и назначила лечение. Все было четко, быстро, с душой сделано. Повторно пришли на приём снова к нашему доктору, она снова нам промыла ушки, пожелала скорейшего выздоровления и по приезду домой(в Подмосковье), обязательно обратиться к отоларингологу по месту жительства. Сегодня мы так и сделали, пришли к врачу по месту жительства. Доктор сказала, что нам все сделали своевременно и правильно назначили лечение, что привело к быстрому выздоровлению.
Хочу сказать огромное спасибо и дать самую высокую оценку самому лучшему доктору- Мотовой Юлие Владимировне 👏👏👏 Дай бог Вам здоровья, низкий Вам поклон 🙏👏👏👏

We had a rest in Abkhazia in November 2023. Everything would have been great if the rotovirus with all its manifestations and dehydration had not intervened on the last day. And fly away tomorrow. I arrived at the hospital on the evening of November 21. In the emergency room, the young doctor (unfortunately I don't know what his name is) reacted with understanding, quickly assessed the situation. Competently prescribed emergency first aid, gave recommendations for further treatment. In the infectious diseases department, nurse Vera dug me out for almost 3 hours. The handles are gold. I did everything perfectly. I got into my not very good veins the first time. There wasn't even a trace left afterwards. I flew home to Sratov normally. Thank you very much to such doctors with a capital letter, literate, responsive, polite, patient (after all, we patients sometimes are not very white and fluffy). You are my saviors. God bless you and bow low to you. The hospital is old, there must have been repairs in the accommodation. The ward is clean. When emergency help is needed, I am ready to receive it in any conditions. Words of great gratitude to the duty doctor of the children's department, Elena, whose last name, unfortunately, I do not know, and to the sisters who were on duty on October 5-6, 2023! For humanity, responsiveness and kindness! The child, 2 years old, has an acute viral infection. They came to the IV three times and each time they took us without a shadow of irritation, politely listening to our complaints, Treated us and prescribed further treatment and diet. A separate word about the nurses' professionalism: the baby had almost no visible veins from dehydration, every time we arrived we had to put a new catheter and always found a vein. Попала я в данную больницу с отеком квинке, дикая крапивница-аллергия, то есть мне требовалась неотложная помощь, так начала отекать гортань. Приняли в приёмом покое быстро, девушки очень вежливые, только, потом направили в терапевт чешское отделение и тут уже - ужасное состояние помещения, обшарпаные стены, тумбочки все ободранные, положили напротив мужского туалета, поставили две капельницы дексаметозона, (ампула 35 рублей)причём пробили вену, врач подошла один раз на 3 минуты, намекнула, что не бесплатно, (без проблем), когда уже чуть полегче стало, я готова бежать оттуда сломя голову, так как духота, вонь, грязь, но чтобы узнать сколько должна пришлось прождать полтора часа, сначала врач обедала, потом, занята была, в конце сказали пишите отказ и оплатите..... И тут я мягко сказать была в шоке от суммы озвученой за две капельницы по 35 рублей, когда спросила есть ли у них прайс откуда сумма взялась, сказали врач сказала столько, спросила дадут ли мне документ отчётный у меня страховка, я могу вернуть деньги, начали кричать, что я бессовестная мне помогли, а я тут такая нахалка ещё и вопросы задаю. Я все понимаю бесплатного ничего нет, но когда люди-врачи просто в наглую хамеют, и эта безчеловечность и желание хапануть побольше зашкаливает-это просто отвратительно. Вообщем, запомнила я эту больницу надолго.

Yes, this is not a private clinic for you, with a perfect repair, BUT you apply for help there, and they provide it to you.

Хочется выразить слова благодарности врачу детского отделения больницы ,.к сожалению не спросила фамилию врача ,22июля 2023 года из пансионата Амзара опк Пицунда нас с ребенком срочно отвезли в больницу с удушающим кашлем,было очень страшно за ребенка, и к тому же была суббота,но врач был на месте и нам оказали квалифицированную помощь,сделали ингаляцию,поставили укол и ребенок задышал как прежде,такой ужас пережили находясь в чужой стране,спасибо Вам Абхазы,вы действительно настоящие друзья,которые в миг пришли на помощь,низкий вам поклон.Как же хочется,чтобы везде были такие добрые отзывчивые люди.

Отдыхаем в Абхазии. С женой случилась неприятность, она повредила колено. Не смотря на то, что была суббота, в больнице все были на месте. Нас быстренько направили к хирургу, а он сразу отправил на снимок. Очередей нигде нет. Через 10 минут мы уже были со снимком снова у хирурга. К счастью травма оказалась не такая серьёзная нам назначили лечение и мы ушли. Выражаем благодарность врачу-хирургу Амину Рамазановичу и рентгенологу, к сожалению его имя-отчество мы не узнали.

Заболел ребёнок 1.5 года, ночью началась рвота. Скорые в Гагре на вызов к детям не ездят, администратор отеля, где мы проживали, сказал, вызывайте такси и везите сами ребёнка в больницу. Доехали на такси. Здание больницы как в фильме ужасов, полная разруха, антисанитария и бардак. Запускают в уличной обуви, на полу самой больницы типа клуба с землёй, там растут цветы (и это лечебное учреждение, где должна быть чистота и санитарная обработка). Поднялись на 6 этаж в детское отделение, медицинские сёстры одеты в трико и футболки, хотя бы врач была в халате. Само отделение: грязные полы, отсутствие ремонта, грязное бельё на кроватях для пациентов. Стёкла где-то выбиты, в палатах летают комары и бабочки. Врач почему-то принимает в процедурной, почти не посмотрела ребёнка, сразу выписала капельницу физ раствор+церукал. Спасибо большое медицинской сестре, которая сразу попала ребёнку в вену, не причинив ему дополнительных страданий. Прокапали капельницу, потом врач вызвала меня в процедурную-кабинет, сказав, что раз мы неместные приём 1000 руб+капельница 500 руб. Я заплатила, они тут же не стесняясь поделили с медицинскими сёстрами между собой и отправили нас с 1.5 годовалым ребёнком средь ночи в отель. Благо хоть после моей просьбы вызвали нам такси, так как я не знала даже куда звонить и сим карты местной нет.

Отдыхали в Гагре с 2 по 8 августа 2023 года. У ребенка до 1 год 11 месяцев появилась рвота и температура 39, обратились в городскую больницу. Приняли очень хорошо, оказали необходимую помощь, назначили препараты. Благодарим медицинский персонал детского отделения!
