One of the largest and oldest museums in the world, filled with art treasures from every era. The interiors themselves are stunning works of art. 🚍 Easily reached by bus or metro to Admiralteyskaya station.

Must-visit! I would even say it requires numerous visits cauz there is no way anyone could cover all of it in one visit. An outstanding collection of art like no other. Even if ur not that fond of spending hours looking at art, u'd probably be fascinated with the Hermitage interiors and its history. Despite the number of visitors, navigating the museum was not obstructed at all the entire time of our visit, which let us spend as much time as we wanted in any area visited. I would recommend buying your tickets online, otherwise u'll have to spend too much time standing in lines. One thing that I found rather inconvenient was inability to go ouside during the visit - I mean how hard is it to arrange just a few areas where visitors could get some fresh air or smoke a cigarette without having to leave and re-enter buying another ticket?! The cafes inside were also a major disappointment - ppl visit and spend hours in the museum often expecting an opportunity to have a fine lunch or simply drink a cuppa coffee, however what u get here for 3-4x the price is remarkably bad, which is a really weird an unpleasant experience in a city packed with awesome cafes and restaurants come on u guys! Nevertheless, it was the museum we came to visit in the first place and we loved it! Overall, a 7.5/10 experience would def recommend visiting 🤜🏻🤛🏻
