The museum complex is recommended for everyone to visit. The museum itself is open until 17-00. The memorial complex is open around the clock. There is a large parking lot (anyone with their own car). If you travel from Minsk, it is better to make this visit in the morning so that you do not get into traffic jams at the entrance to the city in the evening. A ticket to the museum costs 6 BYN. Those who do not know the history of Khatyn, I recommend first a museum, then a memorial (without immersion in history there will be no worries, rage inside and tears of sympathy). If you know the fate of the village well, you can skip the museum. As soon as you see the statue, everyone has a personal story...

An excellent memorial complex. I advise everyone to visit, but not just to walk, but with an excursion. We came across a very cool guide, an expert on the topic, a person who is deeply immersed in the question. The guide had an answer to any questions right away. I didn't remember her name, but without a doubt she's the boss and the best there. Thank you for the wonderful tour.

Khatyn is mandatory to visit. We took a guided tour of the Complex. Wonderful guide Alina led her very soulfully, interestingly.
We did not take an excursion to the museum (we did not have time In time), but in vain. 6 halls each behind a new door. Each room has a screen that tells about the tragedy of the war. And one hall is the lightest - peaceful life. It's worth seeing!
They tell children not to, I disagree. This is history and memory, and if we remember and pass on to the younger generations, so we do not forget about the feat of our people.

We were in Khatyn on our own, without an excursion. But the tour is optional there, and so everything is clear. Then we went to the new museum. The museum is wonderful. There is something to see, the original presentation of the material. But! At the same time, an excursion took place nearby. The room is small and the guide kept asking us to move away. We didn't understand, should we run away or close our ears and eyes? So then we tried to stay longer in the previous hall so as not to run into them, and then we returned to the hall from which she asked us to leave)))) It's kind of unpleasant. It seems like we bought tickets, but we can't watch, we need to hide away from excursions)))

I believe that this place should be visited by everyone who remembers and honors the history of their people and ancestors.
It's very quiet there, and only the bells on the memorials, which symbolize the burned huts, ring every 30 seconds.
On the site of each house there is a memorial-a stele on which there is a plaque with the names of those who lived in the house. At their foot are children's toys that people bring. There were many children in the families..
The monument "The Unconquered Man", the eternal flame, the cemetery of burned and destroyed villages, the very atmosphere of this place makes you remember once again.
It takes 40 minutes by car from Minsk, there is a huge parking lot, cafes, toilets, a souvenir shop on the territory.

On June 12, 2024, we visited the Khatyn Memorial Complex at sunset. We were alone. The atmosphere was very impressive. Everything was thought out by the creators of the complex, many thanks to them - it is necessary to remember. We are from Nakhodka, we planned to stop by on a car trip. I advise everyone to visit.

05/31.24 the family came to the sanatorium for a vacation, planned a trip to Minsk with a stop in Khatyn. The complex is decorated in black tones, there are signs, signs with explanations, but the strongest impression is made by a black sculpture of a blacksmith with a dying son in his arms... first we went to the museum, because for the first time here, we asked the female administrator where to buy tickets and how to get into the hall, she was struck by her inhospitality, answered questions on the verge of rudeness, the inspection of the halls goes in a circle, but when we entered the first semi-dark hall, we did not see the door, we asked again, the administrator pointed to she said in an edifying tone, "I told you that you need to go in a circle, but you don't listen," a few minutes later, schoolchildren with a guide entered the hall, all the halls went with them, visitors were not allowed to go to the toilet in the museum building, the woman administrator said to us again in a rude form, "for you toilets on the street!!!" - we found it ourselves by following the signs... The place is difficult, but it is a part of our history that needs to be known and remembered.... I am removing the star only because of the inappropriate behavior of the museum administrator.

A necessary and important memorial complex. Take the services of a guide, first take it inside the museum and then on the open area. You won't regret it. Our whole group had wet eyes. You will learn everything down to the smallest detail, ask questions and get answers to everything. It is very interesting and informative, there is something to think about.

While in Minsk, we were thinking about what sights to visit in the district, my husband suggested such a great place as Khatyn. First of all, we went to the museum. There is a small souvenir shop at the checkout, both with symbols of the land of Khatyn and just Belarusians. We bought ourselves a small bison. Ticket prices are quite reasonable, 6 rubles per adult. We were very impressed by the interactive exposition. An employee of one of the halls kindly told us some details from the story, although we did not take the tour, for which we thank her very much. I came out of the museum with goosebumps and tears in my eyes, so I advise you to visit. After the museum, we walked through the territory of the memorial complex, looked at the main parts of the memorial. The obelisks on the sites of each of the houses that were burned down by the Nazis on that ill-fated day made a great impression. In such places, you begin to rethink your life. Despite the fact that Khatyn is a mournful place, it is something that should not be forgotten, and that should live in the hearts of people, so I recommend visiting this memorial to everyone!!!

We walked around the memorial complex, looked around, listened to the silence and the singing of birds. They put a candle in a small chapel. Clean and well-maintained territory. At night, I think the complex looks especially illuminated. We were without a guide, so the information on Khatyn is out of my head from history lessons at school.

We were in this place 2 years ago. Then the construction site ruined the whole impression.
Now a wonderful museum tells the story of the occupation, the history of Belarus, burned villages and concentration camps.
It's really a creepy place when you realize what happened and how many people died. Everything is very well done. There is a church, an eternal flame.

We spent only 3 days in Minsk, we decided that it was worth visiting this tragic place, getting acquainted with its history, visiting the memorial complex, museum. It is only an hour's drive from Minsk. To our deep disappointment, we faced difficulties and misunderstandings. It all started with the fact that you can't pay with a card. Only cash, which we don't have with us, yes, maybe this is our problem, but the complex is modern and it was a surprise for us to face this problem. But the main disappointment came with the fact that we were denied a visit with a dog. We travel a lot, and the only place where we encountered such an attitude was Dagestan. There it is justified by religion and in someone else's monastery, as they say. But the refusal to visit an open complex (!) is just on the street, we have encountered this for the first time in our entire life. We were threatened with fines and police. To which we simply turned around and left in a deep reminder of what a well-mannered dog, if necessary, moved in a backpack, can harm the complex or offend someone's feelings. I am sure that the residents of Khatyn had pets, dogs, cattle, why it is not clear to us. There were no signs anywhere that dogs are forbidden, neither on the spot, nor on the website, nor in the description. This is the first and hopefully the only disappointment from Belarus and we got it in this complex. Archaic rules and ill-will of the staff, as for me, offend the memory of this place much more than the unreasonable theoretical damage from visiting this place with a well-bred pet.

We visited the memorial complex on 05/11/2024. Well-maintained territory, an interesting interactive museum, there are excursions.
I'm lowering my rating due to the fact that we were actually kicked out of the museum half an hour after entering, because an excursion from the Ministry of Culture arrived. Warnings that we didn't have much time for inspection, we didn't have time to look at everything and left with an unpleasant aftertaste. This is not a very nice act on the part of the museum staff!!

The memorial itself is strong!
BUT if you have to move in a wheelchair or come with children in a stroller - a solid ZERO.
You can't see anything, there are ramps, but what's the point of them if there are 5cm holes between the tiles and you can only drive on huge wheels.
In short! It's better not to mess with fouls and small children here-you'll spend more nerves.

The Memorial of Memory impressed, this period of our history should not be forgotten. Speaking of ours, I mean the state that fought with Nazi Germany. Not only Belarus, but the entire Soviet Union, all the peoples who participated in the liberation of Belarus, Ukraine and the entire territory of the then Soviet Union. The tour in the pavilion left an ambivalent impression... The tragedy and horror of those events are awe-inspiring in their inhumanity and cruelty. ...However, maybe I was not paying attention, but I did not hear that not only the long-suffering Belarusian people participated in the liberation of Belarus, but also all the peoples of the former Soviet Union: Russians, Ukrainians, Georgians, peoples of the North and many, many, many.... This was not mentioned in the context of the tour... and this caused confusion and spoiled the impression of this place of "Mourning" for the victims of Nazi Germany...
