My opinion about the Grand Candy branch on Paruyr Sevak, which I visit quite often. There is a shop on the ground floor and a Donut Shop on the second floor. The hall is medium—sized, bright, spacious, and mostly clean. Sometimes music sounds (it's nice when it's instrumental). The list of my favorite confectionery products includes (the prices for takeout and on-site tasting are the same. You can see it on their website): 🍰 Drunken cherry, , The Mikado, 🍰 Chocolate eclair with custard, , Shocking, 🍰 Napoleon, , A treat. By the way, only the vanilla version has always been available from the assortment of doughnut fillings. You can also order juices and some types of coffee at Donchikanots I have a pretty positive opinion about creams (fillings), as they have always been fresh, with well-balanced ingredients (especially those confectionery products that use custard). Separately, I would like to mention the toffee cream, which gives the pastry a special taste. ❌️ NOT often, but it happened that the dough pieces (sponge cake, eclair dough, puff pastry) were not very fresh, or perhaps the storage conditions were violated (for example, drier and tougher than usual, or with a certain aftertaste if you try them separately, without cream). I also disagree with the use of plastic tableware, as some products are simply impossible to eat with it: spoons break in layers of dough. The photo shows the fork I brought. I would like to keep confectionery products in the refrigerator at all times and have the opportunity to taste them chilled. The service is mostly discreet and courteous. This is one of those rare places in Yerevan where you can meet people of all ages and social status — a place where different worlds harmoniously combine under one roof, in warm and bright halls.
