The place left an ambiguous impression of itself. After reading the reviews (especially about bed bugs), it was very exciting to go to this "guest house".
The first disadvantage, I would say an oddity, is the "contactless" check-in. Arriving at the place and entering the apartment, we did not understand what to do and whether to wait for the administrator. Fortunately, the guest of this house kindly suggested to us that we should call the landline to the receptionist and take the key and find the room on our own. Spoiler alert, we never saw the admin during our stay. The second joke is that the front door was always open, I don't want to come in, that is, in my opinion, no one could guarantee the safety of the guests. And the funny thing is, on the last day, early in the morning, we were woken up by the snoring of men sleeping in armchairs in the common living room. Since you call yourself a guest house, it seems that there should be a "master" in the house who would keep order in it. There is zero customer orientation.
The second point was the two creepy refrigerators in the kitchen, which were scary to look into because it smelled like a fierce century-old rottenness. It can be seen that it has not been washed for a long time, and no one is monitoring its fullness either. Therefore, we had to store food on the windowsill in the room, as the weather allowed. There was no desire to cook in the kitchen.
I want to note that the room itself, although tired, is quite clean, without dust, as they wrote in the reviews earlier. The bed linen was clean, of course, but honestly, it was uncomfortable to sleep on it: the pillow was worn by time, the sheet looked like a hospital sheet, mended a hundred times. By the way, the bugs probably didn't have time to bite us.
The only advantage of the guest house is its location, 10 minutes walk to the city center. And in general, you can stay here for a day or two, spend the night cleanly, without visiting the kitchen, etc. If there are no more options for where to stay, as in our case (January holidays), then this guest house can be considered, although the price is quite expensive for this type of housing. But people who are used to a little comfort will definitely not like it here.

I would not call this place a hostel in the usual sense of the word — rather, it is a large guest apartment, where, it seems, some residents have been living for quite a long time. The atmosphere is more like a hostel. Unfortunately, the rooms are not very clean.
I only needed to spend one night in Minsk, and this option turned out to be convenient due to its location in the city center. However, it was not easy to find the hostel — it is located in a giant apartment building, and there is no sign or sign anywhere, which complicated the task.

This is a guest house, I would say a guest apartment, located in the very center of Minsk. This is her most important advantage. Another plus is the high ceilings in the lobby and in the rooms. And the third plus is the price. Compared to other hotels, it is very cheap. But, accordingly, comfort and cleanliness are at a low level. This apartment requires a good general cleaning and cosmetic repairs.

When booking, you see one accommodation option, in fact you are settled in one of at least 3 apartments that they have. To find a location, you need to know the streets or have the Internet (which is very difficult if you are a tourist and have not yet managed to purchase a SIM card) To say that you will arrive at the time (which was agreed with the administrator) and you will be settled is not. A couple of hours of waiting for the administrator, who will change the linen in 5 minutes in front of you, take the money and disappear. By the way, the cost is much higher than indicated on the website.
According to the conditions - repair and old furniture.
There are permanent students and people who have come to work in the capital.
When booking, they no longer accept adjustments, even if it is two months before the planned date. I still didn't understand what the difficulty was in order to add another person to the booking and change the living conditions.

In fact, everything turned out well: the photos match, the location is excellent, the price is exactly the same as it was indicated when booking through the "Island". One of the two bathrooms was always free. However, it is worth asking in advance to send the exact address - and there will be no problems with the search.

It's a terrible place. we are with a friend from the Russian Federation, we booked in advance, the reservation was confirmed, the money was not written off. we arrive at the approximate time of check-in (it was indicated after 14:00), arrived at about 14:30. we did not find any signage, it was difficult to understand where to go, we were without Internet and communication, we asked the locals where to go. we found the entrance through the entrance. we called the intercom, said that our room is a separate room and is located in another house. we dragged the subway 800 with suitcases and bags to some intersection (it was said on the intercom that we were not local and without Internet) barely found this entrance, called the intercom, said to take the key in the mailbox. We took it, went in, it looks like a strange three-piece, we had a room with a separate kitchen. Why do we need a separate kitchen for one day?? but the most interesting thing is that we were told that we could not go to the room that we had booked, because the tenants who were supposed to move out were very drunk yesterday and did not want to move out, they would extend, and what are our problems??? is unknown. Alexander told us that the only thing that this "VIP room" can offer us is not to say that it is terrible, it's just completely different from what was booked, it's unpleasant. They refused to give us a discount. It is very difficult to find a hotel, as there are no signs and signs. The calls are not being answered.
The room is dirty: there is garbage on the floor, someone else's hair in the bed, a screw sticking out of the floor, which can damage your leg. The cost does not correspond to the one indicated on the official website, and even more so on the Islet website, they took much more. There is no air conditioning, but you can open the window. There are instructions for using the TV, you can't watch TV without it. The toilet, bath and washing machines are in the same room, so it is very difficult to get to the toilet, it is always busy.
For the same money, you can rent a room in a hotel, not in this hostel.

Terrible hostel! Of the cons: a dirty combined bathroom, two refrigerators tightly packed with food in the shared kitchen, a host (or whatever you call it, I don't know) watches you from the cameras and communicates via a phone that stands at the "reception", at which no one is sitting. He only comes for money. The combined bathroom surprised me the most. How about 4 rooms (on one floor, and there are only two), I don't know exactly how many beds there are, we had 4, can we think of organizing a combined bathroom??? If one went to wash, then no one else will go to the toilet, and if it is really necessary??? It is obvious that the guests are not respected there!!! There are sinks in the bathroom with holes in the drain, if you drop something, goodbye forever. Not only are the sinks dirty and disgusting to drop, but if, suddenly, it happened, goodbye to the dropped object. I've only seen such holes on trains). I do not recommend the hostel. 75 bel. rubles were charged for a 4-bed room. per day. There is another hostel nearby (I will not mention its name, so as not to count this review as a review left by a competitor) it is much more decent there, but also somewhat more expensive, for a day from the 4th 130 bel. rub. per day. But unfortunately, there were no rooms available for our dates. They were from August 23 to August 25, 2022. By the way, you can pay for your stay at the Grand Inn hostel (it's even funny to pronounce this name) exclusively in cash.

Disgusting hostel. The accommodation conditions do not match the description and photos on the website — this is not a guest house, but a cheap hostel. The room for 5 people is terribly small in size, after the last guests were not cleaned, it was dirty everywhere.
There were big problems with the sewerage system, we called the administrator so that he would do something - we could not get through to any of the specified phones.
We booked a room through the Ostrovok service for three days, decided not to stay on the third day and left in the morning a day earlier.
The common area and kitchen are also unacceptably dirty.
We were refused a refund in one day, although according to the law, visitors have such a right.
I strongly advise against booking this hostel. I recommend the owner to think about the work of his institution.

This is a hostel where many people live on a permanent basis, the kitchen is dirty, the refrigerators are smelly to the point of horror and full of food (most likely they do not clean them after the guests and the food lies there and spoils)

I arrived earlier than planned, settled in, told what was nearby, a store a hundred meters away, a bunch of cafes in a 2-minute walk. New house, free secured Parking, clean entrance.
I lived in a room with a view of the embankment, a gorgeous view, especially in the evening. The room has a large bathtub, a huge TV, slippers, bathrobe, shampoo, shower gel, snow-white linen and most importantly - very clean! Everything is new and fresh.
My companion, a lady with pretensions, but even she was very pleased. We've been to both the Hilton and the Marriott, but we liked it much more here.

We call the Booking office, they can't solve the issue. We call the owner and say that we are calling the police, after this phrase we are provided with these apartments not flooded with water. This is the second time such a story happened in Minsk through Booking. Book an apartment in advance, arrive at the address, and they tell you by phone or sold these apartments, as it was the first time, the second time they told us that they were flooded with water. As a result, it takes about two more hours to decide where to check in and it's all from the train with bags! Belarusians are stirring up something. The apartment is so-so, dirty floor, everything is shabby. In Belarus, if they try to deceive you, immediately inform them that you are calling the police, this phrase strongly brings them to their senses
