At the check-in, we were told sorry, your room is not there, but there are others (and we booked with a view of the tower) . with a view of the tower of rooms -5 or 7, because a bank building was built nearby. We were offered a view of the river, but with an additional payment of 57,000 rubles. We asked why? We were told that you want to change the number, so there is an additional charge, we replied: then we only want the room that we booked and we won't pay anything extra. Answer: well, he's busy and you can only check in at 14:00, and we arrived at 11:20, we replied that we would wait and arrive at 14:00. Attention: for 3 nights, a deposit of 1000 yuan (you must be ready to give them, then they will return). Due to the lack of customer orientation, I withdraw 1 star. Disappointed.

The hotel was very disappointing. It absolutely does not correspond to the highest category and price . They checked us in at the reception for an hour and demanded that we pay for the rooms a second time, even though they had already been paid for earlier. But the hotel staff couldn't find the reservation. The room is very dirty. It's disgusting to be in it. Everything is old and tattered. The plumbing is semi-broken.

I was in Shanghai for work. The hotel is magnificent. The room was big, and in my opinion, it was gorgeous. I especially want to mention the curtains))), which open and close automatically when you press a button near the bed. The bed is super, I would sleep and sleep.....If it wasn't for work.... eh.....I had to sleep for 4-5 hours .... alas.

By a wide margin, the most fucked-up hotel of the more than fifty I've visited. We specially booked Bund view, in fact we got a view of the other side of the river. For the fact that the sofa was laid out for us once and the linen was put on it, they charged us around 50 thousand rubles. It's absolute hell at breakfast, with crowds of people sweeping away all the food in sight. The breakfast itself is also so-so. The bar on the 30th floor (habana bar) has prepared the most disgusting cocktails in my life, the kind that even someone who made them for the first time should be ashamed of. It's even amazing how one hotel was able to beat bingo in so many negative nominations. Absolutely the worst hotel experience.

I don't often write reviews, only if I'm "hurt" in both directions. I was in China all April, in 3 cities. The hotel was the worst in my life only on my first visit to Egypt in the early noughties... 2 Diplomatic rooms were booked. the only thing that fully corresponded was the view from the room, yes, it is beautiful! That's it! Yes, they do not speak English, Russian and other languages, but I had a Chinese escort with me who speaks 3 dialects, which did not help speed up the check-in and it took about 35 minutes. Further: when checking in, they confused who was in which room, it was fundamental, because one of them was additionally repacked with office equipment; they waited 45 minutes for luggage in the rooms, had to go down themselves and "oh, a miracle", the luggage came in 5 minutes; the coffee machine is broken, but they tried hard to prove to me that it was that's how it should work, in the end it was just replaced quietly after 3 days; the teaspoons were dirty when checking in, bed linen, towels, bathrobes - how long have they been using it? all 1.5 ml of the population... The elevators work chaotically, 1 drives - the rest are parked; the pool and spa area are in a "waiting state for the season"; the room itself is "tired" - the drain in the bathroom sink worked poorly, the peeling headset, the swinging dining tables, where you can't even put your hands during lunch; 2 days before arrival there was a letter from the hotel about the add.wishes for the room. So this is for form's sake, because the hotel staff stubbornly did not understand a single language and dialect when I tried to find out where! where is everything that I indicated in the letter! I would not write a review if I stayed for 1 day in a noname hotel with a payment of 3 rubles, but here it is almost a week in a decent grid with a tangible price tag. In general, the impression of a particular one is disgusting. I strongly advise against settling there if there is an understanding that you will not just sleep in the room, but also work fully.

Grand Kempinski says it all. Great rooms, great service, everything is top notch. The cuisine (morning breakfasts) is aimed at everyone, both Asia and Europe, but I liked the Grand Kempinski in Changsha more, where they focus more on local cuisine.
